War of the Titans

One year later

It's been a year since the giant attack on the city. I've mastered my abilities and so have the rest of us. It was almost Thanksgiving and we are planning a giant feast with the whole city, which now has thousands of people.
"Matthew how's the party planning going?" I asked.
"Oh hey. It's going great." He said. "Should we do a dance for it too?"
"Actually that sounds like a great idea." I said. "Can you believe we've been here for over a year?"
"No..." He said a little dishearten. "We're never getting out of this place."
"Matthew we will. I know this is hard but we have a job to do." I said. "If we don't defeat the Titans and Erebus both worlds are doomed no matter what. We'll get out in time."
"Yeah I guess." He said. "Ok we need to go to the farm for meat and all our crops and then go get some more stuff from the woods."
"I'll take care of hunting in the woods." I said as I took out my rifle that folded open. "Be back soon." As I said that I willed my wings to come and I took off.
As I flew over the woods I found a little clearing so I aimed with my rifle and hovered in the air waiting for a animal. Everytime a animal walked into the clearing I got it down than willed the shadows to transport it to the butcher of the city. Eventually a animal came out I didn't expect too. A deer.
This was the first deer I've seen in the time I've been here. This wasn't a good sign. The worlds were joining. Behind the deer a whole herd of others followed. I willed the shadows to the transport them back to the farm and flew there myself.
I landed to see everyone gathered around to see the deer that appeared out of nowhere. I told the farmers to make sure the deer live and reproduce than I headed to the temple. I got there and landed to see Ashley standing there waiting for me.
"What took you so long?" She asked.
"Oh you know the usual. Found a thing of deer and transported them to the farm." I said casually.
"Wait deer? As in Bambi?" She asked.
"Yep. So what you wanna do today?" I asked. We'd been meeting here everyday for a year. Some days we'd just sit here and talk and other days we'd just go around the city together.
"Well I need to go get a dress for the Thanksgiving party." She said. "So wanna go to the mall?"
"Sure." I said. Yes we constructed a mall. We wanted this city to be what we knew before and a mall was a great step.
"Ok let's go." She said.
"You wanna walk or.." I had my wings come out at the last part.
"Ok birdie lets go." She said smiling.
"Ca-Caw!" I said laughing. "Ok grab on." And with that we left.
We got to the mall which giant and made of quartz and marble. I landed us down at the entrance and we went in. We had everything here we had in our old life. Hollister, Carhart, Aeropostale, Taco Bell, shoe stores and everything.
We got to a place that would have her dress and my suit and went in. I quickly found my suit, a pure black suit, matching pants, a shirt I had specially made for me that looked like my armor and a dark red tie. A grabbed my stuff and went to see if she found her stuff.
By the time I got there she was still trying on dresses. Finally she came out in a silvery dress. My jaw about hit the floor. She looked amazing!
I'm guessing she notice that because she smiled and she laughed at me. "Like it?" She asked twirling a little.
Still at a loss for words I just nodded my head. Now that I looked like a idiot and she knows what dress she's getting we left. We walked around the mall for a bit and sat down to have lunch.
"Hey guys." Someone said.
I turned around to see Cayden. "Hey man what's up?" I said.
"Just getting the stuff for the party. What you and Ashley up to?" He asked. All the guys now met Ashley and even though I said we weren't dating they still insisted on making fun of me.
"Same thing." Ashley said.
"Come on man pull up a chair lets talk." I said. "You taking anyone to the party?"
He turned a embarrassed shade of red. "Maybe." He said.
"Ha can't wait to meet her." I laughed at him. "What about Mathew and them?"
"Not as far as I know." Cayden said. Then he got that little troll grin. "What about you two?"
Ashley and I both turned red now. However I had one little trick up my sleeve she didn't. I could still talk to Cayden telepathically like the first night in Primordial War.
"Cayden say one more word and I will make a black hole appear below your feet." I said in his head.
"Dude just ask her." He said back.
Ashley noticed something was up during the long silence of Cayden and I looking at eachother. "Umm hello guys?" She said.
Cayden smiled and stood up. "I have to go guys." He said. "See ya later."
"See ya." We both said.
"I think I'm gonna go stop and grab stuff for later." I said.
"What you doing later?" Ashley asked.
"Getting more materials. I want a couple new weapons." I said.
"Like what?" She asked.
"A serrated chain whip and a wrist crossbow." I said.
"Damn. That'll be interesting." She said. "Need any help with that?"
"If you want." I said.
"If you want me there." She said. "I mean if you need help."
"Ashley I'd love to have you over." I said smiling. "I'll fix up dinner too. What you want?"
"Chicken Parmesan." She said laughing.
"Ok. That's one of my favorite foods. My dad taught me how to make it." I said. "I remember for my last birthday party on earth we made over fifty something at the last minute and everyone loved them."
"Ha that's amazing." She said. "So you wanna head there?"
"Sure. I do have to stop by the mind though." I said. "If you want to head to my house I'll meet you there."
"I'll just stay with you." She said.
"You won't hear me complaining." I said. "Let's go."
We went to the mine where I got materials and we left for my house. We walked in and I led her down to the forge which was a add on to the basement.
"When did you make this?" She asked.
"Not long ago. Wait till you see the inside." I said opening the iron doors. The room was made of platinum and black iron with a giant forge in the middle.
"Damn." She said.
"Yeah. Let's get to work." I said.
Within a hour I had my wrist crossbow. It was made of black iron, platinum and rubies with a gold and platinum reinforced string. Next was the chain.
"Now we have the chain." I said. "I want it to be like the one Zeus had in Immortals."
"Your favorite movie." She said.
"You remembered." I said.
"Of course I would." She said. "Let's get the chain done."
It took a hour but we got the chain done. It was a thirty foot long chain made of platinum, rubies, black iron and the metal my armor was made out of I now call Voidium. I'd take it to Charles tomorrow and have him make it shorter and extendable in some complicated way.
"So you want dinner now?" I asked.
"Sure." She said.
We walked upstairs to the kitchen and I began cooking the Chicken Parmesan. I made it exactly how my dad and I used to make it and also made a cheesecake while it was cooking for desert. The chicken finished and I brought it out to the table for us to eat.
"This is great!" She said after taking a bite.
"Thanks." I said. "I got a cheesecake baking too."
"Let me guess. You and your dad used to make it?" She asked.
"Ha yes." I laughed. "Though I made chocolate with chocolate chips."
"Sounds great." She said.
"I hope it tastes as good as it sounds. I'm not the best cook." I said.
"You just made a Five Star serving of Chicken Parmesan and made a chocolate with chocolate chip cheesecake." She said. "I think your a good cook."
"Ha thanks." I said. I finished my Chicken Parmesan and went to check on the cheesecake. It was almost done. "Cheesecakes almost done!"
There was no response for a minute. I was about to go see if she was there when two arms hugged me from behind. "Thanks for the dinner and cheesecake." She said softly.
I turned around to look at her. Today she was wearing blue jeans, a green Aeropostale shirt and her Vans. She had dyed her hair blond and had electric blue highlights.
"You are the cutest person ever." I said.
"I know." She said smiling.
Before I could say anything else the timer went off and the cheesecake finished. "Well time for cheesecake." I said. "How much you want?"
"Two pieces." She said smiling.
"Comin right up." I said. I got her pieces and served them to her. "Tell me if you want more."
"Thanks *****." She said smiling at me. "What about you?"
"I am always ready for cheesecake." I said.
"This is amazing!" She said.
"Thanks." I said. "I love this stuff."
We finished off the cheesecake and I realized what time it was. "Oh crap it's late." I said looking at the clock.
She looked at the clock. "Oh wow it is. Can I just stay here for the night?" She asked.
"Sure. You can use the master bedroom." I said.
"What about you?" She asked.
"I'll figure out something." I said. "I'll show you where the room is."
I led her to the room and got what I sleep in. "What about me?" She asked. "I can't really sleep in jeans."
I looked around and found a shirt and shorts that I don't wear and let her wear them. She gave one look at them and gave me a look that could kill. "I could just fly to your house and you could get your stuff." I said.
"Fine." She said.
"Actually I got a better idea." I said. I commanded the shadows in her house to bring her pajamas. They fell down in her arms. "Good?"
"Damn. You come in handy." She said. "Thanks."
"No problem. Come get me if you need anything." I said.
"Good night *****." She said.
I stopped in my tracks. I turned around and said,"Good night Ashley."
I got to the guest room and changed into my pajamas, black camo pants with a matching work out shirt. I got into bed and fell asleep.
I woke up at 12:30 in the morning to someone coming in my room. I got up and looked around and saw nothing. Then I remembered I had reign over darkness and shadows. I put on my helmet and used my abilities to see in the shadows. It was Ashley.
"Ashley what's up?" I asked taking off my helmet.
"I just wanted to ask if you had some extra blankets and stuff. I got cold." She said.
"Let me check around the house." I said. I got up and looked around. "No I can't find anything."
"Than I'll be cold the rest the night." She said with a sigh.
"Take these blankets." I said pointing to the bed. "I think there's more here than the other room. I'm not cold usually so I don't need as much."
"But what if you do get cold?" She asked.
"I don't know. I'll think of something." I said. "Just use that bed I guess."
"Ok." She said.
"Good night Ashley." I said and turned to leave.
"***** can you stay?" She asked.
"If you want me to sure." I said. I turned around and laid down in a chair.
"***** you can actually use the bed." She said.
"Umm but your in the bed." I said while my face turned red.
"It's fine. I don't want you to get cold." She said.
"If you say so." I said. I got into bed and stayed on the opposite edge with my back turned.
I turned over and accidentally bumped into Ashley. Before I could back up she nudged against me and stayed there. I decided there was no way for me to get out of this so I just put my arm over her and stayed there.
She seemed to be awake when I did that because she smiled. She turned over to me smiling and I was gonna take my arm off but she stopped me. "Please don't." She said.
"If you want. You still cold?" I asked.
"A little." She said.
I pulled her a little closer and she was still smiling. "How about now?" I asked.
"Perfect." She said.
"Good." I said. She was adorable. Well time to do what Cayden said to do. "Hey Ashley I got to ask you something."
"Sure. What is it?" She asked.
"Well um everyone's going to the Thanksgiving Party with someone and I was wondering if you umm.." I stuttered.
She laughed at my struggle. "Yes ***** I'll go with you." She said. She seemed to be smiling even more.
"Really?" I said surprised.
"Of course." She said.
"That's great. That made my year." I said.
"I don't think I'm that great." She said.
"Than why are we here now?" I said. "Your amazing Ashley."
"Aw thanks." She said blushing.
"Let's get some sleep." I said.
"Good night *****." She said. Than she did something I didn't expect. She kissed my cheek.
"Good night Ashley." I said pulling her close. Than I kissed her on the forehead. "Your amazing."
We fell asleep like that until we woke up in the morning. I woke up first and saw she was there. I decided to go take a jog so I left her a note saying where I was and made her some breakfast.
I grabbed my stuff like my scythes and chain before I started jogging. I jogged over to Charles' place and went in to ask if he could make my stuff. I walked in and he was at his table having breakfast.
"Hey Charles. " I said.
"Oh hey." He said looking up from his breakfast.
"I got a little project for you." I said.
"Ok what is it?" He asked.
"Remember those cool iWatches we saw before we got stuck in here?" I asked.
"Yeah why?" He asked.
"Well I made this last night." I said as I had my wrist open up. "I need you to upgrade this so it'll be like that and can still open up into my crossbow. Can you do it?"
He looked at it. "Yeah I can. What you want it made of?" He asked.
"Same as now." I said. "I also need you I make this chain a bit easier to carry. Maybe make it so it'll extend and shorten on command or something."
"Yeah I can do that." He said. "Come back later and I'll have them done."
"Thanks bro." I said. "See you later."
"See ya." He said.
I jogged back to my house and walked in to see Ashley was still there. "Oh hey Ashley. Good morning." I said.
"Good morning. Thanks for making breakfast." She said.
"Least I could do since I kinda left before you woke up." I said.
"Well I'm gonna head out and do some stuff." She said. "Wanna come?"
"Let me get changed and sure." I said. I headed to my room and changed into jeans and a red and black flannel. I grabbed my black army jacket and put on my steel toe boots. Charles made me armor able to fold up and activate like a Iron Man suit at anytime so I grabbed that and went out with Ashley.
"I gotta stop by my place for some clothes so would you mind waiting?" She asked.
"Take your time." I said.
"Thanks." She said as she walked inside her house. She came out a couple minutes later in a black shirt under a black and white flannel, a white peacoat, jeans and a pair of boots.
"Cold?" I asked.
"Just a little." She said. "Now let's get started."
We walked around the city getting the supplies she needed for something. Eventually we bumped into Matthew who has walking down the street with a cute brunette. Being the friend I am I took my opportunity to get him.
"Hey Matthew!" I yelled from across the street. He turned around and had a look of fear on his face as I walked over with Ashley. "What's up bro?"
"Oh hey *****." He said still looking terrified.
"Who's this?" I asked looking at the girl.
"This is um Courtney." He said turning red. "Courtney this is ***** and Ashley."
"It's wonderful to meet you Courtney." Ashley said. "I like the boots."
"Oh thank you. It's great to meet the both of you." Courtney said. "Matthew got me these boots. He was taking me to the mall to get a dress for the party."
"Is he now?" I said smiling at Matthew. "Matthew never knew you were such a romantic person."
Matthew was almost as red as my shirt by now. "Umm yeah well it's time to get going to the mall." He said.
"That's where we're going." Ashley said. "We should go together."
"That's a great idea!" Courtney said.
"Wait what?" Matthew and I said at the same time.
I looked at Matthew. "We have no choice now. Let's go before someone bursts into flames and you get incinerated." I said smiling.
"Ha that dream reference." He said. "Ok let's go."
Matthew and I stayed back as the girls led us through the mall. They stayed up in front of us talking and laughing. Eventually we came to the store to get the suit and dress they needed.
"Ashley you help Courtney get her dress. I'll help the Gladiator here get his suit." I said. Courtney gave me a questioning look when I said Gladiator. "I'll explain later."
Matthew and I quickly got his suit. A ocean blue suit with matching pants and shirt and had a sea green and ocean blue striped tie. We walked over to see the girls were still picking out dresses and outfit so Matthew and I said we'd go grab lunch for everyone.
"So you and Courtney huh?" I asked on the way to the food court.
"Oh shut up. Unless you wanna talk about you and Ashley." He said back.
"Ok let's call this one a draw." I said. "Any idea what they want?"
"Well Courtney likes Italian food." He said.
"Matthew everyone likes Italian food." I said.
"Ok true." He said. "Let's just get Italian than."
"I'm not gonna argue." I said. We walked over and I ordered for Ashley and I and Matthew ordered for him and Courtney.
We found a spot and waited for Ashley and Courtney. While waiting we managed to find Wyatt and Cayden in the food court. They seemed to be doing what Matthew and I were doing because two girls came up and sat down with them.
"Matthew let's get em." I said. We snuck up on them, jumped and put our hands over they're mouths and dragged them out of their seats. We let them go and died laughing.
"What is wrong with you two?!" Cayden yelled.
"You just Navy Sealed us!" Wyatt yelled.
"I'm sorry but we had to." Matthew said still laughing.
"We were waiting for Courtney and Ashley when we saw you guys." I said. "Who are these two girls by the way?"
"I'm Rachel." Said the one next to Wyatt. She was tan with blond hair and was in jeans, purple shirt with a yellow leather jacket.
"And I'm Samantha." The one next to Cayden said. She was light skinned with black hair and was wearing jeans, a yellow shirt with a matching hoodie.
"Well we're gonna go back and eat with Ashley and Courtney. Samantha, Rachel nice to meet you." I said.
"See ya." Matthew said as him and I started walking away. We sat down and about a minute later Courtney and Ashley came up.
"Hey boys." Courtney said.
"Hey. We got some Italian food for you girls." I said.
"Thanks." Ashley as she sat next to me.
"Cayden and Wyatt are over there." Matthew said pointing towards them.
Ashley looked at me for a second sighed than said, "What did you two do to them?"
"Navy Sealed them." I said. "They're over there with Wyatt's girl Rachel and Cayden's girl Samantha."
"Oh really?" Courtney said. She looked at Ashley. "We should go say hi."
"After we eat." Ashley said. "I want to finish this Italian food first."
"Ok." Courtney said.
A few minutes later we all finished eating and walked over to them. The girls started all talking and we were talking about important stuff for the city when there was a crash and all the glass from the ceiling broke. I flipped a table over all of us and than got up to see what happened.
I looked to see where the crash was and there was a man in a blood red armor and had glowing white eyes. He got up and started walking towards me while he unsheathed a sword made of a blood red material like his armor and than stopped a few feet from us.
"Hello heroes." He said. His voice was steely and evil. He looked like he could destroy us with all the power he that radiated from him. "I am Erebus and I've come to destroy you."
