Dean gasped and held his breath for a few seconds. What an entrance. Dean looked himself in the eyes, well not really himself, but the shapeshifter. The shapeshifter laughed a creepy laugh when he welcomed the hunters into his home. "Welcome! You were expected! I'm glad to see you made it just in time for dinner." And when he said the last word he slid of his skin, wich looked really creepy to the three of them, and turned into a enormous wolf. Sam grabbed his pistol and pulled the trigger. te hit the beast in his paw, but didn't do too much damage to the creature. when Cas and Dean finally had pulled themselves together they also grabbed their guns. the beast came running at them and surprisingly to Dean, Sam and Cas he could dodge all their bullets. Now the beast jumped on Dean. Not being able to pull the trigger one last time he fell backwards with the shapeshifter on top of him. Sam tried to cut the beast with a knife, but it was no use. it only made it angrier. Dean cursed, trying to keep the beast from ripping his throat out. Cas just stood there paralysed. He could not move. He was so shocked. The beast turned to Sam just one second and managed to slam him into the most nearby tree. Sam lost his consciousness and lay down. Then Cas finally came to senses. He muttered something and jumped at the beast. Him being an angel had it's advantages. He was stronger than a human. He held the shifter in his grip. He almost wanted to cheer from triumph, but then he felt the skin becoming slippery and loose. He was shifting. Cas lost it's grip on the animal and now he was the one that was under attack. Dean stood up rapidly and took the nearest gun. He pointed it at the beast, realising just in time he had it backwards and turned it around, and fired. All Cas could hear was a loud bang and then it was dead silence. The beast, who just turned into a bear, was laying on top of him. Being deadly quiet. Well in fact, it was dead. Cas couldn't see a thing and blurted out a weird noise, before Dean realised Cas was still under the creature. He pushed the body aside and Cas was able to breath again. Dean grabbed Cas to help him up. When their eyes locked Dean felt that weird tingly feeling again. Sam grumbled, trying to stand up and stumbled to the two other hunters. Cas stood straight. Sweat on his forehead and his hair messy as hell. "Thank you." He said to Dean. "No problem mate." Dean responded and then patted Sam on his back, who groaned painfully when Dean touched his back. "Whoa, Sam that's going to be a really large bruise!" Dean said in wonder and then they headed back to the car. "I'll fix that when we're back at the motel" Cas said in general and Sam gave him a thankful look. They sat down, still overwhelmed from the happenings. Not that they hadn't faced worse, but it was still a shock every time they killed something. Dean finally started the car and they drove back in silence. When they came back at the motel Sam took the key and placed it into the keyhole. The lock made a click and he opened the door. Sam laid flat down on his bed fell asleep. Dean almost instantly followed his example and also laid down. Cas was standing in the front door, a bit awkward because he didn't know what to do. He coughed lightly and Dean looked up. Sam had already fallen asleep. Dean signalled that he could lay down on his bed. There were only two beds and no couch, so Dean had to share his bed with Cas. Cas lay down beside Dean, who was already asleep. Cas helped Dean to lay comfortably and fell onto the bed. He curled up on top of the covers and watched Dean sleep. Deep in thoughts he didn't even realise that he was smiling. He whipped the smile from his face and checked if Sam was okay. He was snoring loud. Cas was actually surprised that he didn't wake himself up. He closed his eyes and tried to sleep. Angels don't sleep, but it's worth the shot. Cas thought before actually drifting off. He woke up early the next morning and noticed Sam was away. He left a note on the table wich said that he was getting them breakfast. Cas looked over at Dean, who was still sleeping. Cas was surprised that he even managed to fall asleep. He liked it. To be away from the world and all it's problems for a little while. Dean woke up slowly and turned on his side. He smiled when he saw Cas. "hey Cas, good morning." Cas smiled. "good morning to you too." He said and turned to look out the window. The sun shone bright. Couldn't they just take a day off? "can't we take a day off today?" Dean asked. Cas smiled. "I was just thinking exactly the same thing." He winked at Dean, who blushed a bit, then he turned back to the window, just in time to see Sam arriving with breakfast. Cas opened the door for him and let him in. "hey Cas! Is Dean up already?" he asked. Cas nodded and Sam put the food on the table. As soon as Dean smelled the food he came running at the bag on the table and attacked it. "Cas and I are taking a day off today" he said with his mouth full. Sam nodded. "okay, then I go explore this little village" he said before walking out the door again. "so, what are we going to do today?" Dean asked Cas. Cas thought about it but couldn't come up with anything. Then Dean's eyes lit up. "I got it! I'm gonna take you to an amusement park!" he said with playful eyes. Cas frowned. "what is that?" he asked. Dean grinned. "you'll find out." He said before faking an evil laugh. It didn't work out well for him, because he choked on his piece of bread and coughed. The whole effect was gone. Cas laughed and sat down. After cleaning up they walked over to the impala and drove off. Dean with gleamy eyes and a bright smile on his face.
