HOW DID WE GET HERE?

My fellow Padawan's, I have been summoned back from the dead like Kylo Ren as all of you dear readers were the Rey's that brought me back to life for this story!

I cannot apologize enough that another dreaded decade of months that turned into FOUR YEARS has gone by with no updates from me. A worldwide pandemic hit, I graduated college and now have a full-time job, I got MARRIED ❤️, moved to several different states in the last few years, I've been working on my own original story, as well as trying to watch all of the Clone Wars, and needless to say writing got put on the back burner.

With writer's block and honestly simply not having a desire to write over the last few years, I stopped writing and reading entirely as of late.

However, writing is something I still truly love and to write a real book of my own to get published is still my ultimate dream! But I feel I cannot truly do that until I complete the books I set out to write in the first place.

All this to say . . . 🥁✨🥁✨🥁✨🥁✨🥁

I want to let all of you know, this story is not over! I am determined to finish this story and it may be another long haul but I do truly want to finish this as you all have inspired me to keep writing with your encouragement ❤️ All the love you have all already poured into my story has given me the courage and strength to push onward. Serenity and the ideas for this story I have published mean so much to me and I am beyond thankful to have a supporting community of Padawan's and Senators who have grown to find a love for the characters and their journeys as much as I have.

I have now been binging the Clone Wars as well as rereading this book, trying to make sure all my events are somewhat lining up and that everything is connecting how I want it to. You guys would probably be appalled if you knew how many drafts for this specific part of the book I have.

When I first published this book, I had all of Episode I complete and was only beginning to write Episode II by the time I published the first chapter. Therefore, I was able to always publish one chapter a week, already having chapters prepared two months in advance while I continued to work on the new chapters! I would like to accomplish this again so that I can make sure I always have one ready for you every time I hit another writer's wall I still have chapters to publish in advance dear Padawans!

To accomplish all this writing and publishing every week on top of working my full-time job, editing, and making sure my story is flowing correctly is going to get really crazy. That's why I plan to continue publishing this book on August 5, 2024. We will be moving the week before that to a different state so I am giving myself a month to buckle down and crank these chapters down as best I can before life gets crazy again. No one enjoys reading stories with simple editing and spelling mistakes throughout them so I want to make sure I keep those to an absolute minimum!

I only ask that you be patient with me as I rejoin the writing world and try to continue on where I left off. Hopefully the writing isn't too bumpy 🤪

All the votes and comments you all have left me during this time have gone a long way to bringing me to this decision as there are so many of you still hoping for the story's completion and I really would like to bring closure to all of you as well as myself.

With that being said I request your help dear Padawans! I need you all to hold me acoustic table when it comes to the story. I need you all to comment on these upcoming chapters if these chapters are up to par and seem to flow with everything else in the story. If you haven't seen the Clone Wars before either any help you can provide me when these chapters are being released to let me know if there is any way to better artistically describe to the readers what is going on and how it contributes to the whole of the Star Wars world better can go a long way!

If you guys are in dire straights till then (especially since it's been four years now with no updates from me 😅) maybe sometime between the release date I'll even send out a sneak peek 😉

Also, completely random question, but if our strike team were to have a team name (strike team being either Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Serenity OR Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, and Serenity OR Obi-Wan, Anakin, Ahsoka, and Serenity) what should it be? 🤔
