JEDI MANHUNT

After a long and perilous search, we've finally managed to track down Count Dooku. As soon as his location was pinned onboard a lone Separatist frigate in the far reaches of the Outer Rim, Anakin and I were allowed to attend a meeting with Master Yoda, Master Windu, and Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan formed a plan to obtain Dooku, wanting to use Anakin as bait, and forced Anakin to surrender his weapon to make his capture more convincing. Before, as Anakin called it, he began a heroic attempt to capture the Count.

That was two days ago, and since then, Anakin has gone missing. Having lost contact with him, I headed toward my brother's last known location, the same lone large Separatist frigate supposedly also holding Dooku.

Unfortunately for the Separatists, infiltrating the ship was too easy. All I had to do was dress up in a space suit, press a few buttons outside the frigate, and climb aboard. Even then, the droids were so busy with their jobs that they didn't notice me sneaking around quietly. As I ran silently through the halls of the ship unnoticed, it only took me a few seconds to reach the prison cells.

"Have you found Anakin yet?" Obi-Wan's voice broke through the comm device attached to my wrist before I pressed the commlink to answer, bringing it up to my lips.

"Not yet. I just made it through to the prison transports," I replied, searching for the right cell.

"I thought you would've already found him by now."

"Trust me, it won't take much longer," I answer back before promptly pressing one of the locks on the prison doors, the door buzzing open.

Inside, there was no sign of my brother, just two lowly prisoners inspecting their weapons before their eyes shot up in my direction.

"Shit, wrong door," I mumbled before holding my hands up toward the prisoners, motioning for them to stop. "Don't bother to get up," I assured them, as they did the exact opposite and quickly got on their feet, preparing to attack me and leave. "You're not the prisoner I'm looking for."

I promptly locked them back inside their cell before moving on to the next cell. A swelling feeling in my gut alerted me to the Force, indicating I had just discovered where my brother was being held. "There you are," I mumbled triumphantly, buzzing the door open as I stepped in.

If I'm telling the truth, it's embarrassing that I didn't notice him sooner, considering there was an overwhelming sense of him through the Force, and I could tell he was a little annoyed and angry.

Most people would be afraid when kidnapped, but my brother would be the one just to be angry.

As soon as I went inside, there was no sign of Anakin, and I found myself in an empty room. I frowned, confused, knowing he had to be in here. I could feel his energy strongly through the Force but couldn't see him.
