CONFLICT IN THE FORCE

"How touching," Bane comments on my brother's confession, watching Anakin kneel, laying his lightsaber aside. "Such determination," he then tisks at me. "You'd make a great bounty hunter if you'd chosen a different path."

I would've flicked him off if it wasn't for my wrists still screaming at me from their contact against the stuncuffs and my attempts at staying conscious with all the electrocuting.

Even then, my attention was more focused on Anakin, who was using all his energy on the holocron sitting innocently on the ground before him. I've never seen a holocron opened before so I would be lying if I didn't say I was curious to know how it worked. I watched as Anakin focused his energy through the Force, and soon, an eerie hum echoed throughout the room as the blue cube Force floated in front of my brother before slowly spinning.

The holocron began buzzing as pieces of the blue cube dispersed, floating in the air and surrounding a smaller hexagon. My eyes widened at the strange yet slightly beautiful glow while I saw Bane's arms reaching into his jacket for something. "Now, I will combine this holocron with the memory crystal I required from your dead Jedi friend," he sneered before pulling what I'm assuming was the crystal since his back was still facing me and placing it into the center of the holocron.

A whooshing sound is emitted as the holocron glows an even brighter blue, and the pieces fuse back together a bit mismatched, now containing the Kyber crystal at the center. Having successfully unlocked and relocked the holocron, Anakin released the blue cube from his Force grip, and Bane quickly snatched it from the air before it hit the floor.

"My employers will be most pleased," Bane admires, the holocron while my eyes flickered from the holocron to my brother still huddled on the floor.

A guilty look passed through my brother's eyes as he slowly looked at me and then back to Bane, his expression turning from guilt to rage.

I only had time to furrow my eyebrows in confusion, not knowing what he was up to, before Anakin spontaneously Force summoned his lightsaber, as well as my own, from Bane's belt. Both lightsabers were ignited in a contrast of royal blue and a deep mint green as Anakin fought to defend himself from the super battle droids now firing their weapons at him.

In response, I saw Bane's hand hovering back to his wrist comm, and without a moment to waste, I ignored the pain in my wrist, launching myself at the nearest handle to try and get a grip on anything just as Bane opened the airlock.

The amount of air rushing past me at once was indescribable as it took everything in me to try and maintain my grip on the side wall paneling to keep myself from being sucked into space. Only, it didn't help, seeing as Anakin somehow managed to throw a fragment of the super battle droid he hacked to pieces, opening the shield that was keeping me trapped in the airlock, but only inevitably almost sucking him out of the airlock as well.
