The truth behind her

Sarada's POV

"We'll split into two teams, Kagura why don't you go with Boruto and Sarada, and the two of you will be with me." Konohamaru sensei said as we began our journey. 

We traveled west while the others traveled east. I looked at Boruto and nodded and he did the same. 

Flashback

"Kimui dreamed about Kagura last night." I say to Boruto. "I think they both like each other." Boruto says and I face palm. "No you baka she was in pain and screaming I think Kagura and Kimui were close friends and something bad happened." I said. 

"What do you mean by that I thought that she came to the leaf to meet old man Kakashi cause he was her last family." Boruto said. "I don't know what's going on but Kimui is hiding something from all of us and Kagura knows what it is." I said. "Fine let's ask him and see what he says." Boruto said curiously. 

Flashback end 

"Hey guys, let's stop here for a break we've been going on for hours." Boruto said acting tired. "Alright, we can have lunch at that small café." Kagura said as we stopped. "Hey Kagura, do you mind if we ask you something." I ask as we settled in our booths. "No, of course not." Kagura replied. "Do you know Kimui  in anyway other than a comrade in this mission?" Boruto said straight foward. 

Authors POV 

"Oh, she didn't tell you guys." Kagura exclaimed. "Kimui and I were teammates, and we did many missions together." Kagura said smiling slightly. "Wait so she is from here, and aren't you older than us how is she the same rank as you even?" Boruto asked confused. 

"Kimui surpassed everyone in her age, that's the reason why she was the same rank as me, she was chunin." Kagura replied. "But why the same team as you, I mean doesn't the Mizukage have you specialized." Sarada asks. "Kimui's mother died when she was about five, so the mizukage had her under surveillance since she was seven, either way, she was the only person who could stop me even when I went to my evil side." Kagura explained as their food came. 

"Wait, so why does she act like she has never seen you? I mean if you were such close friends won't she just come upright and hug you." Boruto asks frustrated. Kagura sighs. "Well Kimui left the village because she was mistaken as a spy from the hidden leaf, and I was ordered to kill her." Kagura says ashamed." And you obeyed it?" Sarada asks and Kagura nods. 

A wolf teleports on to the table. "Hey you three, Kimui has found the criminals the three is already fighting follow me, we got to hurry." The wolf says. 

Kimui's POV 

Where are those three I can't hold up long against her. I thought dodging another attack.

"So you finally decided to come out of the shadows." Buntan said with an evil smirk. "Well if you say so, Lightning style: lightning balls." I said as I somersault in the air doing my jutsu. "Lightning style: lightning armor." she exclaimed.  We engage in a heated battle until she blew me into a wall through a blast. There was mist everywhere blinding me.  

I got up quickly and notice that I have wounds and bruises all over me. "I have to end this right now." I say to myself. I see a water hydrant on the road side and I get an idea. "Water style: Water dragon." I say as I direct the dragon to Buntan." You know water is lightnings weakness." Buntan says laughing. I hope know one sees this or I'm doomed. I thought before I made the jutsu. The water was surrounding her so I jumped into the air making hand signs. "Purple lightning." I scream out as I hit the water with lightning striking Buntan. Her screams were heard in the surrounding before it died down. The mist clears and I sense some familiar chakras behind me and I turn around.   

"Kimui how did you do that?" Konohamaru sensei says while Boruto, Sarada and the others just stare. "Do what?" I say trying to play it dumb. "You did the purple lightning thing that old man Kakashi does." Boruto says astonished. I knew this would happen I thought. 

"Oh! well that's just a technique I learned a couple years back." I say giving them a fake smile which kagura notices easily. Konohamaru sensei said something which I didn't hear cause it started getting fuzzy. And I felt myself fall, the last thing I saw was Kagura holding me with a concerned look which made me angry and I wanted to yell but I passed out. 

Well another chapter done. But I have to say this is the longest chapter I've ever written in just three days. So hope you guys liked the chapter. And on the top pic is how Kimui sees Kagura before she passes out. 😏
