Harley's body was flung into the wall. She tried picking herself up but was kicked down.

"YOU RUIN EVERYTHING! I TRY TO BE NICE, I TRY TO LET YOU HELP, BUT YOU RUIN IT, YOU RUIN IT ALL!!" Joker screamed out. He walked over and picked Harley back up, only to fling her across the room again.

Harley was desperately trying not to cry. "Puddin...I'm sorry, I tried. It was just a mistake, I can make it up and-and, go back and get it myself!" She stuttered out, quickly wiping away tears as Joker stalked up to her.

"MAKE IT UP?! IT'S ALREADY SAID AND DONE HARLEY, IT'S OVER!!" He screamed back. He spun around, tugging at his hair in frustration. Joker had planned a heist on one of Bruce Wayne's armored trucks. Joker didn't tell Harley the full details, so she didn't know how bad she messed up.

Harley stood up and walked up behind Joker slowly, wrapping her arms around his waist and resting her head on his back. "I'll fix it Puddin I promise, I can do it myself or I can take some of your men and we can go back and then I can make it up to you and make you happy and-" Harley kept rambling behind him thinking he was calming down. Joker wrenched her arms off him and picked her up.

He threw her over his shoulder and walked to the front door of his base. He opened the door and set Harley down gently. He grinned and caressed her face. "Harley, baby, you know I love you...." Harley grinned and nodded.

"I know Puddin, I love you too!" She replied. "Hmmm...." He hummed back, tracing her face. "But you also know not to mess up my plans..." He said, his grin turning into a nasty scowl. "I don't want to see your face for the rest of the week!" He spit in her face.

As Harley's smile fell, Joker punched her right in her face, sending her flying backwards into the night. He slammed the door shut and stormed off.

Harley lay in the dirt crying to herself. She couldn't go to Ivy, she chose Joker over her and she didn't want to talk to her either.

Knowing she'd be in more trouble if she stuck around, Harley started walking through the city, cussing and screaming and destroying anything she saw.

"UGGHHH! I DO EVERYTHING FOR HIM AND THIS IS WHAT I GET?!?!" She screamed to herself, hurling a brick into a nearby store window, setting an alarm off. She just scowled and kept walking.

"Can't do anything right for you can I Puddin...you won't love me like I love you....well screw you and my love.." She cried to herself, throwing herself against a wall in an alley.

Being thrown around and then walking around aimlessly was wearing her out. She was getting lightheaded and was bleeding from her legs, arms, and a gash on the back of her head. She sighed and leaned her head back before letting out a scream.

"WHAT THE FUCK BAT YOU COULDN'T WARN ME?!" She said angrily to the tall man in the suit in front of her.

"What are you doing Harley." He asked bluntly. She huffed.

"He kicked me out again. Beat me up and kicked me out what's new! I try to help and I messed up. I don't even know what it was! Some stupid Bruce Wayne thing, I don't know why he bothers with him, He'll just buy new stuff anyways." Harley rambled on.

Batman just stood and listened. He knew what she was talking about. Obviously. He was warned ahead of time and watched the plan fail. As he stood listening, he felt something different for the girl in front of him. Sympathy. Everyone always tells her Joker could care less about her, she was just a toy that stuck around and gave everything to him. She never listened.

The blonde rambled and rambled until her head was spinning. She was losing blood and he knew it. He stuck his hand out at her which she looked at puzzled.

"What do you want? Gonna turn me in? You know he'll come break me out anyways." She said rolling her eyes. She was right, although a toy, Joker always broke her out and brought her back around. He shook his head.

"No. You're losing blood. Come on." He said. She rolled her eyes again and tried to stand. "Look, Batsy, I'm fine. Now fuck off." She said. She took a few steps away before wobbling. He stepped forward and caught her as she passed out.

"Idiot." He muttered to himself. He threw her in the car next to him and drove off to the batcave.

A few hours later, Harley woke up in a bed, her cuts washed off and covered. She sat up and groaned, her hand flying to the back of her head.

"Don't mess with it. You'll just open it." A deep voice said from a dark corner. She rolled her eyes.

"So?" she asked. "So what." He asked. She flung her feet to the floor and stood up, grabbing her shoes next to the bed and putting them on. "Why'd you help me?" She asked. Batman just stayed silent.

She giggled to herself. "Don't worry, I won't tell Puddin." She said. She waltzed up to the man and flung her hands around his neck. He glanced down at her.

"Long as you don't tell him, but you wouldn't do that would you?" She asked grinning again. He shrugged her off him. "If I see you again I'm turning you in." He said simply. He walked away, pressing a button. Behind her a door opened to an alleyway.

She grinned and rolled her eyes. "See you around batsy." She said running out. He watched as she ran out. He didn't regret helping her, he just hated her cockiness. He knew she'd hang this over him forever. He didn't care, they were still enemies.
