"You have been sneaking around for a while and I want to know what is up." Morgan accused me.

There is no point in looking innocent to Morgan.

"I am nearly ready to do the reveal. I promise." I am glad this is only now coming up.

"You are not going to deny it." She gave me a 'fists on her hips' body stance.

"No. Why would I?" I asked.

"Arg! How long?" Morgan asked.

"Two days." I requested.

"OK. Saturday. You better be ready to tell all."

"I will be." I assured her.

At dinner, Morgan was not in the mood to have me being mysterious.

"Adrian is going to confess what he has been up to on Saturday." She announced once we were all seated.

"Good. I, for one, am tired of the skullduggery. Ever since Cert left the country, he has been running around off his leash." Denise chimed as she served herself some green beans.

Helen shrugged. "I figured he would say what was up when the time came."

Jessica did not comment.

Nakoma looked me over is her way. "I won't ask, dad. You will not tell."

"Nope." I agreed. "Very astute."

"I hate that I did not notice something is up." Vera said.

"You have been distracted, dear. Little Ben." Angel said.

"He has been on a mission to make me think he is twins in there. Are you sure he isn't?" Vera asked Jessica.

"No, dear. Just the one baby. I promise." Jessica assured her.

"Going to be a damn hiker. Karate Kid. Legs kicking everywhere." Vera said. "Middle of the night. Smack. Right in the kidney."
