How to say "this one/that one/that one over there" in korean?
것 = thing
(its pronounced as geo-t because the ㅅ is at the bottom; this is a part of pronunciation rules of korean- we'll get into it later)
When 것 is written alone, it carries the ㅅ at the bottom too. When its written with another word, it is written as -거.
For example:
이 + 것 = 이거
그 + 것 = 그거
저 + 것 = 저거
The bottom ㅅ was eliminated.This one = 이거
That one =그거
That one over there = 저거That's it for today, 안녕!
