Remember we learnt double vowels?
ㅚ ㅟ ㅢ ㅘ ㅞ ㅝ ㅙ etc

Let's make words out of these.

Since every vowel must have ㅇ before if it has no consonant before it, ㅙ must be written as 왜. The sound remains the same because the ㅇ is silent here.

Fun fact: 왜 means "why?" You must have heard it in a k-drama before.

ㄱ + ㅟ = 귀 = ear

ㅎ + ㅚ = 회 = episode (of drama series or shows)

These double vowels are not as frequently used but you should know.
