Melody Jacobsen is a 17 year old girl who is afraid to speak for herself in any situation to anyone. She takes shy to a whole new level. Even her own family doesn't understand her. Until one summer when she met a boy that changed her look upon life. But when that summer ended and both the boy and the girl had to retreat back to their homes Melody loses hope that she will ever see that boy again.
