The tent is occupied by people, with speakers at every corner of it blasting songs. Atsumu looks up and admires the fairy lights hanging here and there on the top of the tent.
"The theme's Romance apparently," Sakusa says, who ducks into the tent and stops beside Atsumu.
Romance?
"And the songs are Pop and K-pop. I really hope they play some OSTs," Sakusa continues. "This place is amazing," Atsumu says, grinning at Sakusa.
"Really?" Sakusa asks, looking around. "I've been here so many times that I've never really appreciated the palce before."
"Then appreciate it!" Atsumu exclaims, grabbing Sakusa's hand and dragging him to the center of the tent. "What the heck? Why are we-" "Just chill, Omi!" Atsumu cuts off.
Sakusa stands there awkwardly while Atsumu folds his arms and looks at him. "We start dancing once this song ends or else I'll go home," Atsumu says.
"Is that even a threat," Sakusa dully says, causing Atsumu to smack his arm. Sakusa yelps, drawing his stinging arm back. "Yes it is! Now wait for the next song!" Atsumu scolds, before looking up to stare at the lighting of the tent again.
Sakusa watches Atsumu's eyes reflect the golden light of the fairy lights. The fairy lights make Atsumu's yellow hair glow, turning it into a bright shade of gold. Atsumu's lips curl upwards in delight as he continues to look at the light.
He's not cute.
He's beautiful.
"Alright, fellows! Grab a partner for this next song! I don't care if you're both boys; wrap your arms around each other and start dancing!" a voice booms, from the speakers.
Sakusa's eyes widen as the next song comes on; a slow song.
Atsumu's eyes widen too, and he slowly looks at Sakusa. Atsumu masks his nervousness by shooting Sakusa a smirk. "Hear that, Omi? Wrap your arms around me," he flirts, winking at the shocked male.
Sakusa rolls his eyes before wrapping his arms around the blonde's waist. Atsumu's eyes fly open in surprise. "W-What-" "You said to wrap your arms around you. So that's what I'm doing," Sakusa explains, shrugging.
Atsumu stares at the taller male in utter shock. "Okay," he just says.
'Can I call you baby?
Can you be my friend?
Can you be my lover until the very end?'Atsumu looks down to avoid Saksua's gaze and to hide the blush dusting his cheeks pink.
"You're so stiff, Miya," Sakusa comments, chuckling a little. "What? What do you mean stiff?" Atsumu asks, looking up at Sakusa.
"You look awkward. Your hands are just- Holy- Hey, I never said-" "Now they're not awkward," Atsumu triumphtantly says, his arms around Sakusa's neck. Sakusa frowns in disapproval, but his frown doesn't quite hide the blush creeping onto his cheeks.
'I need someone who can love me at my worst
No, I'm not perfect but I hope you see my worth
'Cause it's only you
Nobody new
I put you first'Atsumu stares as Sakusa averts his gaze away from him.
'And for you, Sakusa Kiyoomi, I swear I'll do the worst'.
