The slow song ends, and the awkward silence between the two melts away. Atsumu reluctantly removes his arms from Sakusa's neck and Sakusa removes his arms around Atsumu.
The pair don't look at one another; Sakusa looks down at his bare feet while Atsumu looks to his right.
Then the song changes once again, and Atsumu immediately brightens up.
"What is this song?" Sakusa asks, looking at Atsumu and eyeing the shimmying Atsumu. "It's from Produce 48. My Queen Eunbi performed this song with other performers during the show," Atsumu replies.
Sakusa just stares at the blonde male mouthing the lyrics. "What is it even called?" he asks. "Rumor," Atsumu answers.
'How should I look at you now?
Tell me
Don't hide your feelings, baby
Can you give me your heart?'Can Sakusa Kiyoomi give Miya Atsumu his heart?
Sakusa watches the blonde copy the movements in tiny, cute imitations, pulling funny faces at the dark-haired, causing Sakusa to give the blonde a small grin.
As Atsumu imitates the dance moves of the dance, Sakusa's heart starts beating twice as fast again. The twinkling eyes, the bright smile, the stupid but cute imitations. The cute messages, the 'I'll be there for you' texts.
He might have just given Miya Atsumu his heart.
Out of the corner of his eye, he senses movement at the entrance of the tent. Sakusa forces himself to tear his gaze away from the bright, smiling Atsumu and to look at the entrance of the tent.
Sakusa's eyes fly open as he recognises the tall male at the entrance. The male's eyes sweep across the tent, and they land on Sakusa. A small smile ghosts the male's mouth.
"Omi? You look like you've seen a ghost," Atsumu comments, his voice startling Sakusa.
"Is it alright if we leave?" Sakusa nervously asks. "What? But we just got here-" "Let's just go," Sakusa pleads, looking desperately at the slightly shorter blonde.
Atsumu blinks. Desperation pools in Sakusa's usually dead eyes, and Atsumu shrugs. "Sure," he says.
The pair weave through the crowd, pushing their way to the entrance of the tent.
"Kiyoomi!"
Atsumu freezes, looking around. "Did someone just call you?" he asks, trying to find the source of the voice.
"Yeah. But I don't really want to talk to him," Sakusa answers, frantically making his way to the entrance of the tent, his feet sinking into the sand.
Atsumu continues walking, occassionally looking behind to try to find who called Sakusa.
Sakusa stops at the entrance, glancing back. Atsumu follows his gaze, and his eyes widen.
Ushijima Wakatoshi stands in the midst of the crowd, trying to make his way to them.
His crush's former crush.
Does Sakusa still have feelings for Ushijima?
"Omi?" Atsumu asks.
'Hurry tell me something
I won't be able to listen to you anymore'Sakusa doesn't reply and simply exits the tent, ducking under the flaps.
Atsumu hesitates, his body poised to duck under the flaps of the tent.
'How should I look at you now?
Tell me
Don't hide any feelings baby
Can you give me your heart?'It looks like Sakusa Kiyoomi's heart seems to be occupied at the moment, with fading feelings for Ushijima Wakatoshi seemingly starting to resurface.
Atsumu's feels ribbons of sadness wrap around his heart, tightening slightly.
Has Sakusa given his heart to someone else already?
