Atsumu left the Training venue earlier than Sakusa. He couldn't handle Sakusa's company. He couldn't handle the silent tension crackling between them. And so, he left. Just like how Sakusa had left him crying in the toilet stall back at Nationals.

Atsumu wraps his scarf around his neck tighter, letting out a shaky breath as his teeth chatters from the cold wind whipping his hair around. He doesn't know where he's going, but he just keeps walking.

It's 2am, and there are only a few cars passing by and almost nobody on the pavements. The lamp posts shine bright to offer light to those still awake but the autumn wind is cruel. Strong gusts of wind blow past Atsumu, and he mentally curses himself for not wearing another layer of clothes to protect himself from the harsh winds.

Atsumu walks past a park and a large oak tree catches his eye. He stops and stares, the large tree casting a large shadow over him. He feels nostalgia wash over him as he remembers why this oak tree seemed so familiar.

It was the Love Tree he and Sakusa had gone to on the second last night of their Training Camp back in Junior High. During Nationals, Atsumu had cut off the tag he had written, because Sakusa had lied to him.

Atsumu walks to the back of the tree where the box of the light switch to the tree is and switches it on.

The loud click resounds throughout the park, and the tree lights up. The sudden brightness causes Atsumu to squint, forcing his eyes to adjust to the brightness.

Atsumu walks back to the front and just like before, his breath was taken away by the magnificent view. The orange, yellow and red leaves somehow made the tree even more beautiful, the golden fairy lights making the tree look as if it has gold as its leaves.

Strings tied around the nearly bare branches still hang down with yellow tags tied at the end.

Atsumu remembers the spot where they had tied it. It was the brightest spot. He walks over and to his surprise, a tag occupies the string where the tag he and Sakusa had initially tied. Atsumu takes the tag and reads it:

Sakusa Kiyoomi x Miya Atsumu
'Even if you don't love me anymore, I will always love you. I will always be here waiting with open arms. Why? Because you are the Chaewon to my Eunbi, the Spongebob to my Squidward andthe sugar to my coffee. You will always be the one who touched my heart.'

Atsumu's heart lurches as he reads the quote below their names. So Sakusa knew that he had removed their initial tag. Sakusa must have gone here during Nationals and made a new one.

"Unbelievable," Atsumu whispers, shaking his head.

There, written on the tag, were the words Atsumu had written for Sakusa on the hand sanitizer he had given Sakusa.

Part of him doesn't want to believe what Sakusa has written.

But that part of him doesn't exist.

Because Miya Atsumu had completely fallen again for Sakusa Kiyoomi.
