"Nice kill, Omi-kun!" Atsumu called out, and gave the dark-haired a thumbs-up and a wink.

Komori let out a whistle from behind as he wiggled his eyebrows at Sakusa, who was glaring at him.

The coach blew the whistle and made everyone go for a 5 minute water break. Atsumu grabbed his water bottle and dropped down to the floor, leaning against the wall as he took a sip of water.

"Why are you sitting? You should walk around or something," Sakusa said, eyeing the sitting blonde. "Are you not tired?" Atsumu asked, sighing at his aching legs. "I am. I'm tired of life," Sakusa replied.

Atsumu laughed. "God, Omi. You have such dark humour."

Sakusa sat down next to the blonde, and the two of them looked out at the empty court. "I'm glad we met," Sakusa said, looking down at Atsumu.

Atsumu turned to face Sakusa, shooting him a smile. "Me too," he agreed, before resting his head on Sakusa's shoulder.

"I love you, Miya Atsumu," Sakusa whispered, reaching for Atsumu's hand and taking it. Atsumu watched as Sakusa's thumbs made circular motions on his hand, and smiled.

"I love you too, Sakusa Kiyoomi."

"Atsumu, calm down!"

"No, Osamu! What-What's going on! I need to know!" Atsumu yells, struggling from his seat. Not only are there stitches on his left side, but there are stitches on his thigh, shoulders and right arm too.

The sudden standing from earlier had inflicted a lot of pain within Atsumu, and Atsumu nearly collapsed from the pain. The nurses had him sit in a wheelchair, which is now being locked in place by Osamu.

"Calm down! Stay calm for Sakusa, Atsumu!" Osamu hisses, gripping Atsumu's shoulders. Atsumu winces in pain and he stops trying to fight. His body goes limp, and he leans back.

Stay calm for Sakusa.

More tears start to stream down Atsumu's cheeks. Stay calm for Sakusa. Stay calm for Omi. Stay calm stay calm stay calm-

"I know you love him. We know you love him. But you have to let the surgeons do their job. Sakusa will get through this, knowing that you're out there waiting for him," Suna says, rubbing Atsumu's back as he cries.

Osamu wraps his arm around his twin. "He's right, Tsumu. He'll fight. He'll do whatever it takes to get back in your arms. Like he always does," he reassures.

The ICU doors open again, and this time, a surgeon in scrubs walks out towards them. Atsumu quickly swipes at his tears, and he motions for Osamu to help push the wheelchair nearer to the approaching surgeon.

Osamu unlocks the wheelchair, and pushes it to the surgeon.

"Miya Atsumu, right? The one with Sakusa Kiyoomi?" the surgeon asks, wiping his hands against his scrubs. "Yes," Atsumu replies, nodding.

"I have good news and bad news. Which would you like to hear first?" the surgeon asks.

Atsumu's heart lurches. Bad news? No, there should only be good news-

"Good," Osamu says, grabbing Atsumu's hand and squeezing it.

"Well then. Kiyoomi has suffered severe injuries. The broken glass from the car window has pierced his flesh. I was able to take out all the shards, and there was no severe damage done to the tissues."

"Kiyoomi has road rash, which is an abrasion caused by friction either because the patient was dragged or skidded against the road. Not very serious. It only has a few red scratches on his upper arms and knees. This is something that you shouldn't be very worried about."

"Kiyoomi has broken his arm. It was so severe to the extent that we had to do surgery on him. We were able to repair it. Which is good."

"Now, as for the bad news..."
