AUTHORS NOTE: Sorry I haven't updated in a bit. Summer was crazy, but expect more updates!
Ben's POV.
Lasers flew past Ben's face at rapid speed Ben deflected the ones directed at him with powerful blocks.
Ben sauntered over and looked down.
. . .
"Are you sure about this, Bree? I can't shake this bad feeling..."
"Yes I'm sure. Stop being so overprotective. Just because I'm 13 doesn't mean I can't take care of myself."
"Alright. Alright. I know this is what you want, but if you ever change your mind I'll be here immediately."
"I won't, but thank you."
"I love you, sis."
She smiled, as they hugged. "I love you too, Ben."
. . .
"I knew this would happen."
"You didn't know that this was going to happen." Uncle Luke argued.
"But I knew something would and no one listened and now my sister is missing and might die any moment!"
"We don't know that."
. . .
The ship slammed backwards, causing Ben's neck to hit the back of his chair. He looked up out the cockpit window and saw a large plume of smoke and fire rocketing skyward. The two of them looked at each other in horror. The rotunda. Almost instantaneously the worst feeling he had ever experienced flooded his senses through the force. Screams, fear, fire, pain, darkness combined in a feeling so terrible he almost screamed out in agony and the tether connecting him and his sister suddenly severed with a painful snap. Silence. It was gone.
"No! Bre!"
Ben stared into nothingness trying, reaching, grasping for any sign of his sister.
"Jaina, what's happened?!" Uncle Luke asked in panic.
"It's the rotunda Master Luke. It's-it's gone. Without warning or a bargain. Their gone Master Luke. I'm so sorry!" She was crying.
The vacuum of grief began to swallow him. "I can't feel her! I can't-I can't feel her! She's gone! Force she's gone!"
. . .
"Then that is the way of things. Of the Force and most importantly brought by her own decisions that she made."
Ben shook his head. "So you just let the people you love die?!"
"Yes!" Luke raised his voice.
. . .
As the speed picked up he now saw red and as if without registering where they were coming from or how many he knew exactly what to do.
. . .
"I will not try to force you to leave this place before you're ready. If you must be here to find peace I understand, but do not let this haunt you. Your sister wouldn't have wanted you to be consumed by anger. She would have wanted you to live your life and be at peace." Uncle Luke concluded in his lecture
"Breha loved you Ben. She would want you to move forward and be the connection your family needs not filled forever with hatred or sorrow. Grieve her know that you will always feel her absence, but be comforted by the time you had with her and by knowing she is always with you in the Force." Aunt Raina said.
. . .
Suddenly the last two fired, but this time they seared his skin with sharp stings.
"Ah!" He shouted, bent over in pain. He slowly sat on the floor of the gymnasium, groaning.
"That was pretty good. Needs a little work though." A voice said.
Ben didn't need to look he already felt him coming in.
"What would you suggest, Master." He asked, a little flatly.
Jacen came over to him and gave him a hand to help him up. Ben took it rising to his feet.
