Raina's POV.
Raina sat on a blanket watching her husband doze, lying on his back arms pillowing the back of his head.  They had escaped the watchful eyes of the temple and found a spot on the grounds to have picnic in a grove near a peaceful lake. Feeling a sudden kick against the inside of her abdomen she placed her hand against her bump and rubbed the spot.
"She's pretty active isn't she." She looked up meeting Luke's now opened eyes.

"Yes she is." He leaned up on his elbow.

"I thought you were napping." "I was, but then the ripples from her force signature woke me." He glanced at her bump.

"It's very strong isn't it." He nodded.

"Yes."

She looked down at her abdomen worrying filling her.

"There's no need to worry. Betrus is gone and-"

"She escaped."

"Yes, but she would never try to come back. Not after what happened. She isn't strong enough."

"But what of her master?"

He looked at her firmly. "I already told you. I'm working on it. I won't let anyone hurt her or you. I promise."

"You can't promise that, Luke."

He stared at her both knowing what she meant. "Raina, I promise you it won't happen again. I won't let it happen again."

She said nothing as a ball forming in her throat. She looked down fighting back tears as she caressed her bump where their child was growing. She quickly decided to change the subject. "How is Ben's trading with Jacen going?"

Luke blinked at the sudden change of topic but seemed to understand she no longer wanted to discuss such sorrowful matters. "It's going well. He is improving even more and becoming more controlled. He should be able to pass next season."

She smiled. "Good."

"You know we decided to come out here to get away from the temple for a little bit." He smiled humorously.

Her lips turned up. "I know. I'm sorry. I guess my mind is still on it."

He smirked, sitting up. "Well, I know one way to get your mind off of it." He scooted over to her, making her giggle and began peppering kisses against her neck.

"Luke!"

"What? It's not like anyone's here to see and even if they were they can't blame me for kissing my wife." He muttered into her neck.

"Yes, but-"

His lips touch her ear as he whispered.
"We've been out here and done far worse things before you were pregnant, but only now you're feeling self-conscious?"

"Luke!" She exclaimed as he laughed, his lips closing her own. The two of them giggled as they kissed one another, but before they could deepen their kiss Artoo let out a handful of beeps from nearby. They broke away.

"What is it Artoo?"

He beeped again.

"Someone's coming and it looks like it urgent." Luke looked at her, both of them feeling worried.

They both stood, Luke offering her his hand. Sure enough. It was Jason. He had been running and was out of breath.

"Master Luke, Master Raina."
