Hi. I'm Y/n L/n. If you don't know me, which you probably don't, I'm the girl who doesn't stand out. The girl who has no friends. But that all changed when I mysteriously got transported into my favorite book series. That's right I got transported i...
An: Thank you for reading my book 😊 Merry Christmas 🎄
Today was like any other day. Wake up, eat, and go to school. My life is so dull. I have no friends so I usually just read a book while I'm eating lunch. There are a couple of girls at my school who like to make my life a living hell. Brittany, Jennifer, and Becky are the most popular girls in school. Everyone always listen to them and no one ever takes my side. They always tell people I threaten them with violence or that I did something they did.
I should've stayed home today. I thought as I got called to the Principal's office for the fifth time this week. When I got there, I saw the treacherous trio smirking as if they'd won something. Principal Farquad looked at me with triumph in his eyes while he excitedly explained that today was my last day. I was expelled. I didn't fight it. It was completely hopeless to fight. He never really liked me anyway.
I was told that I had till the end of lunch to clean out my locker and leave the premises. The treacherous trio snickered to themselves as I slowly put everything in my locker in my bag. As I left the school, I took the long way home stopping at a park to pass the time. I know my parents probably already got the phone call from the principal that I was expelled. They were gonna be pissed. And by they I meant my mom. My dad didn't really care. He was too busy to care.
After a while, I got hungry so I decided to go to a convenience store. I looked at their food options and went with a pre-made sandwich and a coke. I payed for the food and left going back to the park. I sat on a swing and silently ate my lunch. Finally, I could stall no longer and reluctantly made my way home. As soon as I walked in the door, my mom was already screaming at me.
You see, this was not my first time getting expelled. I got expelled from my last school from accidentally exploding the science lab. I was tired and mixed the wrong chemicals. I had apologized profusely, but apparently that wasn't good enough. My mom screamed for so long I thought she was going to lose her voice. When she noticed I wasn't listening, she grabbed my hair and threw me in the direction of my room telling me that she didn't want to see me for the rest of the night.
I went to my room and immediately after I shut the door I finally let out the tears I was holding back. I collapsed on my bed shaking with silent tears. After a while, I decided to get my mind off of what happened today by reading. I looked through my book collection and ultimately chose to reread the Percy Jackson series from the beginning. I picked up the first book and started reading. I fell asleep while rereading the third book in the first series.
When I woke up, I wasn't in my room. I wasn't even in my house. I was on the top of a bunk bed in what looked like a fancy dorm room. Where I didn't know. The only thing I knew was that something was wrong. What's going on? I slowly but surely got off the bunk studying my surroundings. There were two dressers. One had a bunch of clutter on top and the other only had a snow globe of New York. There were two walk-in closets. One had clothes and shoes lazily thrown all over the floor and the other was neatly organized.
As I was looking around, someone burst into the room cackling like a witch. It was a girl with curly read hair, orange freckles, and crooked teeth. She was wearing a fancy uniform that consisted of a white button up shirt, a black jacket with a white trim, and a red plaid skirt with a matching tie. She looked at me funny which made me realize I was wearing a pastel pink nightgown.
"Why aren't you dressed Y/n? You're going to be late," the strange girl said.
"Umm...who are you?" I asked the girl.
"Are you for real?" She asked. "Stop being weird and get dressed."
"Which closet is mine?" I questioned her deciding to just go with it a figure out where I was on the way.
She looked at me like I was crazy and silently pointed to the organized closet. I thanked her and walked into the closet to put on the fancy uniform. I didn't understand how to put on the tie so I looked out at the girl who was patiently waiting for me to finish. She seemed to understand what I needed and came over to tie the tie for me.
"Thank you," I told the girl whose name I still didn't know. "What's your name?"
"Again with this? You know my name," she replied rolling her eyes.
"No. I really don't," I said with a confused look.
"Are you having memory problems again?" She asked concerned.
"Yes," I said just rolling with it.
"Oh. Well my name is Nancy Bobofit and you are at Yancy Academy. Class is about to start so we'd better get going," she explained.
"Nancy Bobofit? Yancy Academy?" I said in a daze.
WAIT, I'M IN PERCY JACKSON!?!?!?!
An(2): I didn't know if there was an official Yancy Academy uniform so I just made one up. This is what it looks like:
