An: Thank you for reading my book.

"What a pain." Mr. D sighed.

"Whatever do you mean?" I asked innocently smiling.

"Anyway I thought you'd like to know that we've decided to suspend judgement on Grover's latest screwup until further notice." Mr. D said turning to walk away.

"Thank you, Mr. S," I called after him earning another exasperated sigh. S for softy.

I was rolled back to the infirmary by Luke whom was standing a few feet away while I talked to Mr. D. I thanked him when we got there and he left pretty quickly. After awhile, I heard sniffling coming from a corner. Concerned, I rolled over to the curtain separating a small section of the room.

"Hello? Are you ok in there?" I asked the crying person.

The sniffling stopped and a few seconds went by before a small voice replied, "Not really."

"Do you want to talk about it? If not, it's ok."

A few more seconds went by before a small, tanned hand pulled back the curtain to reveal a child no older than 8 with sunkissed blonde hair. He had a bandage covering his left arm and his face was covered in tears and snot.

"Whats your name? My name is Y/n L/n," I asked.

"My name is Will Solace," he sniffed. That's Will? I don't remember if the books ever told us about when Will got here.

"Why are you crying?"

"Because I miss my mom," Will answered starting to cry again.

"Would you like a hug?" I asked opening my arms. I don't understand missing my mom because she wasn't really that nice so I don't really know how to comfort him.

He hesitated for a second before launching himself into my arms. I wrapped my arms around him and rubbed his back. We stayed like that for a long while mostly because Will fell into a comfortable sleep. I heard the horn indicating dinner was ready so I gently nudged Will awake.

"Hey, it's time for dinner. Let's go ok?"

Will pushed himself off of me with surprising speed looking really embarassed. He then ran off in the direction of the dinning pavilion leaving me to roll myself there. My arms were tired from holding the small and adorable Will for hours so I took awhile to get there. When I got there, everyone was already lining up to give their offerings to the gods. Dangit. I'm late. Not really wanting to roll myself anymore, I went to table 12 like I have been doing and plopped my head down on the table.

"What are you doing, Edith?" Mr. D asked. He's not even trying to get my name right, but he wouldn't be the Mr. D I know and like if he did.

"I'm trying to sleep, Mr. A" I replied not taking my head off the table.

"Before you give your offerings?" Mr. D questioned.

"Yes, cause my arms are too tired for this." I complained.

"Grover, go get little miss tired some food and push her to the fire to give proper offerings this time," Mr. D sighed.

"Yes, Mr. D," Grover said grabbing me the good stuff.

Grover pushed me over to the smokey fire. We didn't have to stand in line cause I was the last one that needed to do the offering stuff. When we got there, I put my hands together and bowed my head as if to pray. Whomst shall I give this offering to? Obviously Hestia, but whom else? I thought for awhile before deciding to only give the offering to Hestia. Everyone else can suck it since I doubt she gets many offerings. I smiled as I put over half my food into the fire.

Grover pushed me back to table 12 where Mr. D looked a bit surprised. I grabbed my empty cup and filled it with Blue Cherry Coke. I sipped the perfectly carbonated drink with content. I then ate my meager amount of food happily. I don't really like brisket so I just got a bunch of fruit, cheese, and bread. Mr. D was still looking at me funny, but I just ignored him. His sons were also looking at me mostly because their dad hadn't looked away from me since I got back to the table.

"Here. Drink this," Mr. D finely said holding out a cup with what looked like grape juice.

I eyed it suspiciously before telling him, "No thanks. You can have it."

"I can't drink it." He stated putting the cup in front of me.

I grabbed the cup and sniffed it. I looked at Mr. D with a raised eyebrow.

"I can't drink this either. I'm a minor," I stated putting the wine back on the table.

Mr. D let out a joyous laugh which caused everyone to stop eating and stare at him in surprise. He looked back at me and then gestured to the cup of wine as if telling me to drink it. I rose an eyebrow and raised the wine to my lips not breaking eye contact. I took a big gulp to assert dominance trying not to grimace. I hate this taste. I put the cup back on the table as Mr. D let out another laugh. Chiron pounded his hoof on the ground as he came over to the table.

"Yes," Mr. D sighed going back to his grumpy self. "I suppose I'd better say hello to all you brats. Well, hello. Our activities director, Chiron, says the next capture the flag is Friday. Cabin five presently holds the laurels."

The Ares table errupted in cheers.

Mr. D continued, "Personally, I couldn't care less, but congratulations. Also, I should tell you that we have a new camper today. Peter Johnson."

"Cough. Cough. Percy Jackson. Cough. Cough," I interjected earning a glare from Mr. D.

"Yes, yes. Percy Jackson," He corrected himself, "That's right. Hurrah, and all that. Now run along to your silly campfire. Go on."

Everybody cheered making me flinch from the noise. My head was starting to hurt and these hooligans and their loud voices weren't helping. How potent is that wine. I thought flicking the cup. They all started to head to the campfire. I didn't want to go, but Percy found me and took me along with him much to Mr. D's delight. Everyone started to sing campsongs and eat smores. I did not partake in any of it cause my head felt like it would explode.

I was so delighted when the conch horn blew and I was able to go back to the infirmary to sleep. I could see Mr. D giving me a smug look from across the camp. In order to reassert my dominance, I flipped him the bird while sticking out my tounge. A stabbing pain shot through my head as his smirk turned into a frown. I gave him one of my innocent smiles as I rolled myself into my temporary room.

That wasn't so bad.
