20 more rounds (chapter 5)

Camila POV

After I texted with Shawn, I went back to the ice hall and practiced my Twizzle and my double Axel jump before the training. I didn't try to combine the two because I was probably not ready, but at least I could do both tricks perfectly, separately.

When my training started, I wasn't alone on the ice. I had to share the ice with another skater, but I didn't care. In the middle of the week I even had to share the ice with 4 or 5 other skaters.

The training past by quicklyand I suddenly saw how my sister, together with my dad and his team entered the hall.

I got out of the ice and went over to Sofia and my dad.

,,Mila!" Sofie said excited even if she just saw me a few hours ago. I took her in my arms and then kissed my dad's check significating that I'm not mad at him or something.

While I was taking off my shoes, I saw how Shawn and his family were entering the hall. Aaliyah immediately spotted me and ran in my direction.

,,Camila!" She said and gave me a hug.

,,Who are you and why do you hug my sister?" Sofie asked confused.

,,Sofie, this is Aaliyah. Aaliyah, this is my little sister, Sofia." I said and Aaliyah smiled friendly at Sofie.

,,Nice to meet you, Sofia." Aaliyah said and Sofie smiled at her and said:

,,You can call me Sofie. Do you wanna play with me?" Sofie asked and I put on my shoes and went over to Shawn to say hi and leave the girls play.

,,Hi!" I said friendly, smiled and streched my arm for his parents to take it. ,,I'm Camila."

,,Nice to meet you, Camila. I'm Karen and this is my husband, Manuel. You probably know our kids already." Shawn's mom said and shocked my hand friendly.

,,Yes, I do." I said and looked at Shawn who looked pretty sad, and right as I wanted to ask what's wrong, my dad came next to me and said:

,,So... Karen, Manuel and Shawn Mendes. Right?" They nodded and my dad continued. ,,I'd first like the boys from my team to warm up while we, the adults, are discussing some details. I watched today some of your sons games. I liked what I saw, but I would still want to see him live. At the end, we have a game. Just the team together and I'll watch him play then. Till then, I think he should watch the training and see if he likes it."

,,It's a good plan." Manuel said.

,,Twenty rounds around the ice! And quick!" My dad shouted at the team and then turned around and said to me: ,,Would you like to take Shawn with you while I'm talking with his parents?" This question was so unexpected, but I nodded.

Shawn and I went to sit a few rows behind our sisters and there, I decided to ask him what's wrong.

,,Are you okay?" I asked him while he was focused on the boys who were skating around.

,,Yes." He simply said.

,,You sure? I don't like to push and I know we just met, but you don't look as happy as earlier."

,,I'm sorry.. I- I just found out something and I don't know what to feel about it." He said and looked away from the ice and looked me in the eyes.

,,Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked and put my hand on his back.

,,Uuuuu! Look boys! Camila got a boyfriend!" Thomas, one of the boys shouted.

,,Diary! 20 more rounds for you!" My dad shouted and I giggled quietly.
