We're so boring...(chapter 29)

Camila POV

The week passed pretty fast by and before I could realize, it was already Friday and Shawn and I decided to go to that party. He said that he won't let go of my hand even for a second and he seemed  pretty serious about it.

During the week I struggled a lot with my quarter axel jump, but didn't seem to get any further with it. I tried to talk to the girls from the team, but they would only wave me off and leave. I was pretty sad about it because I haven't done anything, so I just accepted it and moved on.

After training, I went home with Shawn and made ourselves ready for the party. I just put on some jeans, a cool top and some high hills. Shawn had his usual black jeans and a normal shirt on. He looked handsome like he always does.

We made our way to the cafe where we agreed to meet with the others. Dean and Fred would drive us because we all don't have space in only a car.

As everyone got at the cafe, we decided who in what cars goes and we got at the conclusion that Scarlett, Shawn and I will go with Fred and Elyse and Rory with Dean.

The drive didn't take long and we arrived pretty fast at Henry's house. The house looked huge and there were a lot of cars parked in front of it. Shawn and I walked hand in hand in the house and so did Fred and Scarlett. There were a lot of people, but we all decided to stick together so that's what we did.

,,Come on! Let's dance." Rory said and pulled all of us on the dance floor after her. While we were dancing, some guys made their way in mine and Shawn's direction.

,,Mendes! You came!" A guy who I believe was Henry said and gave Shawn a bro hug.

,,It looks like that." Shawn said and broke the hug.

,,Is she the girlfriend you talked about?" He asked and looked at me.

,,Yep. Henry, this is Camila. Mila, this is Henry. Oh and this is Xander." Shawn said as he realized another guy was standing there.

You could really tell that Xander and Dean are brothers. They really look alike.

,,Nice to meet you two." I said and smiled friendly at them.

,,Nice to meet you, too." They said at the same time.

,,Now I understand why you don't want other chicks. She's good." Henry said and Xander elbowed him.

,,Ow, what was that for?" Henry asked confused.

,,You were kinda flirting with his girl, man. You don't do that." Xander clarified and Shawn chuckled.

,,Sorry... I didn't realize." Henry said embarrassed.

,,Don't worry." Shawn and I said simultaneously and laughed at the realization.

,,Babe? Where are you?" I heard a girl through the crowd of people.

,,I'm here, babe." Xander said and suddenly Elena appeared and hugged him. ,,Babe, this is Shawn. The guy I was talking about and this is his girlfriend, Camila." Xander said and Elena's eyes grew wide as she saw me.

The girls at the practice asked me if Shawn was my boyfriend as came at the training, so why was she so surprised to see me?

,,I know her..." She said and looked disgusted as she checked me up and down.

,,Oh really?"

,,She's the new girl in the ice skating team." Elena said to Xander.

,,Oh-" He said and suddenly his smile faded.
