New city, new job (chapter 25)

Shawn POV

As I woke up the next morning, the first thing I saw was Camila sleeping peacefully on my chest. I took my phone trying not to wake her up and looked at the clock. It was 8am and Mila said our first interviews were at 10am. There were two Cafés that were looking for an employee and two restaurants. We decided that I go to the interview from one Café and one restaurant and Camila goes to the other two.

I put my phone on the side again and just watched Camila while playing with her hair and I was waiting for her to wake up. That moment was too perfect. That moment was too precious and I didn't want to be anywhere else than there with her.

After few more minutes, Camila opened her eyes and yawned as she woke up.

,,Morning!" I greeted her and as she looked up at me smiling widely.

,,Morning!" She said and gave me a short and sweet kiss.

After a while we stood up from the bed, stopped by Starbucks to eat breakfast and afterwards both of us made our way to the interviews.

My first interview was at a cafe and as I got there, I went to a woman who looked like she worked there and said friendly:

,,Hello! I'm Shawn Mendes. I'm here for the interview for the free post." I said and the woman stopped was she was doing and looked at me.

,,Nice to meet you, Shawn. I'm Zoey Kils and this is my cafe. Tell me a little bit about you." She said in a flirty tone, but I ignored it.

,,My name is Shawn Mendes, like I said. I'm 19 years old and I'm going to Boston University. I'm looking for a part time job, so my girlfriend and I can make some extra money." I said and also made clear that I am taken.

,,So you have a girlfriend?" She asked and smirked.

,,Yes. But why is it important for the interview?"

,,It's not. Just personal interests." She said and I took a step back keeping my distance from her as much as possible.

,,Do you have any other questions for me?" I asked feeling really uncomfortable. Didn't I make myself clear that I have a girlfriend!? And not just a girlfriend. I have the best girlfriend someone can imagine to have.

,,Would you serve this to the old lady in the corner and this to the group of girls over there? As a test." She said and I did as she told me. I took the drinks and gave the coffee to the old lady in the corner of the room.

,,Thank you very much, gentleman." The lady said and smiled at me.

,,It was my pleasure, ma'am." I said and then made my way to the girls that Zoey told me to give the coffees to.

,,A cappuccino?" I asked not knowing who what ordered.

,,Here." A girl with dirty blond hair said and I handed her the cappuccino.

,,A latte macchiato?" I asked and a girl with darker skin color and beautiful black hair and gorgeous dark eyes said:

,,Here." I said and handed her the coffee.

,,And a caramel macchiato?" I asked and a girl with red hair and green eyes said:

,,Here." I said and handed her the drink.

,,Zoey flirted with you, right?" The girl with red hair asked with a smile on her face and the others giggled.

,,Yep. Why you asking?" I said and they started laughing.

,,Cause she flirts with literally every guy and as we saw you entering the shop, we were sure she was gonna flirt with you too." The girl said and the others agreed. ,,Anyways, I'm Scarlett. This is Elyse." She said and pointed at the girl with black hair. ,,And this is Rory." She said and pointed at the girl with blonde hair.
