Rings (chapter 37)

Camila POV

Time passed quickly by and before we could realize it was already Christmas.

In the Christmas morning, I woke up with a big smile on my face and looked next to me to see Shawn still sleeping. He was sleeping peacefully on his stomach and a few curls were hanging over his beautiful face.

I put the curls away from his face to look at him. I was so happy and greatfull to call him my boyfriend for over two years.

,,Guess what? It's Christmas!" I whispered in his ear and he suddenly opened his eyes and smiled at me.

,,Merry Christmas." He said in his hot morning voice, kissed my nose and that made me giggle.

,,You wanna go and open the presents?" I asked him excited.

,,I already got mine." He said and wrapped his arms around me. I blushed at the meaning of his words and hide my face in his shirt.

,,You're too cute." I said and kissed his chest.

,,For you, anytime." He said and chuckled.

,,You wanna go open the other gifts?" I asked even if I didn't want to go anymore.

,,I don't care. I'm fine with the one here." He said and I started giggling as he started kissing my neck.

,,Sofie! Look!" We heard Aaliyah shout from downstairs.

,,Look what I got too!" We heard Sofia shout too and that made us both laugh softly.

,,Apparently they are happy with their presents too." I said and Shawn chuckled.

,,Now I'm curious to see what they got." He said.

,,To be honest me too." I said and we stood up from the bed and walked downstairs hand in hand.

,,Mila! Look what we got!" Sofia and Aaliyah shouted at the same time as they saw us.

,,What did you get?" I asked them and they took my free hand and pulled me away from Shawn. They made me sit by the tree and showed me their presents.

,,I got a guitar! How cool is that!?" Sofia said and showed me excited her guitar. She always wanted one so I think Santa made a good choice.

,,And I got a photo camera! Look how cool it is!" Aaliyah said excited.

,,I guess Santa did his job well this year." I said and smiled at them.

,,He for sure did. Open yours!" Sofie said and I looked under the tree to see two presents for me.

On one present it said it was from Shawn and the other one was from Santa. I took Shawn's present first and started unwrapping it while I looked at him.

He got closer to me and before I could open the little box he stopped me. He took the box away from me and opened it himself.

My eyes grew wide as I saw two promise rings in the box.

,,You didn't!" I said and took one of the rings to look closer at it. ,,Are this our initials!?" I asked in shock after I saw some letters scripted in the ring.

,,Yep." He said and smiled at me.

,,You're crazy." I said and put the ring back in the box to give him a soft kiss. ,,Thank you..." I said after we broke the kiss.

He took one of the rings and put it on my finger while he looked me in the eyes. I took the other ring and put it on his finger and then gave him a hug.

,,Talking about rings." I heard my dad say from behind and we broke the hug to look at him.

To everyone's surprise, he took Juliana's hand in his and kneed in front of her. My jaw fell as he took a tiny box out and opened it to reveal a ring.
