First day of college (chapter 27)

Camila POV

The week passed by quickly and today was the first day of college. Shawn and I had our lecture from 8am to 10am amd after that I only had ice skating from 11am to 5pm. I know it seems long, but it's not that long. We get some breaks and anyways I wouldn't mind skating all day, so 6 hours it's nothing.

Shawn also had hockey training from 11am to 3pm. He gets free a little sooner than I do, so he said he'll probably come and watch me if he's allowed to.

As we got in our class, we took our seats next to each other and waited for the professor to show up.

,,Do you wanna go and eat something after the lecture?" Shawn asked me.

,,Yeah. I mean, I won't be able to eat anything until 5pm so I think it's a good idea."

,,I'm sure you'll get some breaks. They won't tell you to practice 6 hours straight."

,,I wouldn't be surprised if they would. Juliana made me once skate 6 hours straight with no breaks, so if they do it here I wouldn't be surprised."

,,What!? Really!? When?" He said seeming surprise.

,,It was right a few days before you moved to Woodstock. I needed to practice for a competition and I remember that I won it. That was when some people from the nationals saw me and they invited me to the nationals."

,,Then I guess it was totally worth it."

,,Kinda...remember I couldn't go to the nationals that year." I said and suddenly Shawn got a sad facial expression like he always did when I talked about how I couldn't go to the nationals. I sometimes have the feeling that he thinks it was his fault, but that's not the truth...

,,Hey...look at me." I said and he did. ,,Why are you so sad suddenly?" I asked him.

,,It's just...I don't know...never mind."

,,You thinking about that accident?" I asked and he nodded. ,,Shawn...I told you it wasn't your fault. It was no one's fault. It was an accident. These happen."

,,Yeah, but that time it was because you saw-"

,,Stop it! It wasn't your fault! Please don't take yourself down...You know it wasn't your fault. Okay? Please promise me that you won't think like that ever again." I said and he kissed my cheek and said:

,,I promise."

,,You two are soooo cute!" Someone from behind said and as I turned around, I saw Rory.

,,Oh, hi Rory." I greeted her with a smile.

,,Hi! Can I sit with you two?" She asked.

,,Of course." Shawn and I said simultaneously and she sat down right next to me as an older looking man entered the class and said:

,,Hello everyone! I'm professor Queen and I'm going to be your professor this semester. As you probably know, there are always going to be exams at the end of every semester, so you better pay attention and take notes. I'm always open for questions, but if I see you don't pay attention in my class, then I'm not going to answer any of your questions. My rules are simple. You pay attention and if there are still questions I'm gonna answer them. I think I made myself clear enough. Moving on to our today's topic."

Everyone took their notebooks and pens and started writing down what the professor was saying. The professor seemed pretty strict, but I don't think I'm going to have problems with him.

During the lecture, I found myself staring at Shawn from time to time as he tried to write down all the important stuff while his tongue was lightly outside. He was looking so cute. I couldn't help it.
