I ran to the kitchen to get more cups but couldn't find any so I ran downstairs to Ms. Finkelstein.
Kaz, Oliver, and I are playing this Jenga kinda game.
I ran back upstairs and came to the patio.
"Guys, I found ten more cups. Ms. Finkelstein said we can keep them because she has so many" Oliver and Kaz laughed
"it sucks her husband died" Oliver said. we all nodded
"Yeah, she's such a sweet woman" Kaz added
"what do you think you're doing? First, you act like our mission leader, now you're training Kaz." Chase yelled at me
"Chase, if you want to bitch, don't do it in front of me" I said adding a cup. Kaz and Oliver chuckled
" Kaz!" Chase whined
"Wait a tick. Okay, go ahead." He said placing another cup on the statue
"Why did you ask Skylar for help training when you already asked me?" Chase asked
"You know, she was a great mission leader, and I just figured she would be great at that, too. I was right." I smiled
"Thanks, Kaz!"
"Lizzy... may I have a word? " I ignored him because he knows I'm, not the biggest fan of being called Lizzy. "LIZZY" he pulled my hair.
I turned around slowly
"Yeah, you're dead" Kaz and Oliver said
"did you just. pull. my. hair?" I started laughing.
Chase walked slowly backwards as I walked closer to him.
"uh..." he started. I interrupted him by punching him in the face
"Okay. Look, I know you're new, to this team. So I'm gonna let this one slide. But around here, I'm the mission leader." he said in a scared voice
"I wasn't trying to step on your toes." I said, clenching my jaw
"Yeah, well, you couldn't, because my toes would be way out ahead of you... leading!" I punched him again
"OW!"
"you know, I never realized how much of a conceited jerk you are."
he scoffed.
I stood closer to him.
"Listen here asshole. the team needed me. And I'm not sorry, but if they need me again, then I'm going to lead them again."
" Stick it to him, sister. About time someone showed these robots who's boss." Perry said coming closer to us. Chase turned around
"You know what, Perry? You're the reason this whole thing happened. Now go pack your stuff and get out!" Chase yelled at her.
"Chase!" I said to him
"All right. I'll go. Guess I can stay with the one friend that will never leave me. Loneliness." she walked to the Hyperlift. he turned to me.
"I'm team leader" I smiled.
"it doesn't seem like a team. we should be working together, not listening to a trashy white boy who dresses like a highlighter." I turned around and started walking away.

(Later in the basement...)
when I was downstairs packing Perry's stuff,
I heard a Mission Alert going off.
I ran to the Hyperlift.
"oh no!" Perry ran over
"what is it" She asked
"we're stuck."

(upstairs)
(Chase's POV)
"Hey guys, there's another mission alert. A truck carrying toxic chemicals overturned in the Rogers tunnel. It caused an explosion, and hundreds of people are trapped inside." We all started going out
" Hey, wait. Where's Lizzy?" Kaz asked me
"I don't know." I replied
"Without her, who's gonna lead us?" Oliver asked. Oh my god
"I am!"
" Really? Do you think that's a wise decision?"
" Just go get your mission suits and head out. I'll go find Lizzy and meet you there."
I ran over to my tablet
" Manual override. Hyperlift disabled." the tablet said
" Oops." I said and chuckled
