Part 45 on attack

3rd POV
"No. No no. Cole please, it'll be okay." She cried as she tried to wrap the table cloth around his leg. "Lili" he choked out. She grabbed his face and kissed him. As She kept crying. "I'm so sorry Cole. We were childhood friends. That's why we hugged" she sobbed trying to stop the blood from coming out with the table cloth.

"Break my heart break it a thousand times if you like. It was only ever yours to break anyway. Ill always love you lili"  (from the book) He said admiring her beauty, a tear slid down his face, as he realized there was a possibility was the last time he'd see the love of his life. Right as Cole finished a guard bent down under the table and started pulling lili away. "No he needs help! Help him first!" She sobbed as she was pulled away. But not before crying, "I love you so much more than you'll ever know" she whisper- cried, before she couldn't see him anymore.

"Lili calm down. The sooner I can get you to the safe room, the sooner I can save him" the guard said making Lili shut up and ran faster with the guard. "Please do everything you can to save him. Make him your top priority" lili begged before he pushed her into the safe room and shut the door before running back to report room.

She entered the safe room, to see Oakley in there. She was the only one in there. "Oakley!" Lili cried as they ran and gave eachother a hug Oakley was crying too. "Lili- lili, they were shot! They were shot" she sobbed into Lilis shoulder. "Who were" Lili said concerned. "Mom, an-and dad" she cried even more. Lilis heart dropped as she heard those words. She just held Oakley tighter speechless of what of what to say.

"Come to the bed" lili whispered as she carried Oakley to the bed. Oakley sat on her lap as she cried into her shoulder. "Is he okay?" She asked worried. She was talking about Cole.

"He was shot in the leg there's a guard going to save him right now" it made Lili cry just thinking about it. Oakley just nodded as more tears came flooding down her face.

"What if they all die! What am I going to do!" She cried worriedly. "I mean I'd become queen! I could never be queen I'm only twelve!" She panicked.

"Oakley, Oakley. Dear it's okay." Lili cooed, as she wiped Oakleys tears with her thumb. Oakley snuggled her head into lili.

They soon both cried themselves to sleep still cuddling together. Even though it was the morning time, the report was earlier than usual because Cole was proposing, so they were still really tired.

The rebel attack lasted for awhile. What happened was, some of the southern rebels killed the guards and dressed in the uniforms they had on. This made them able to enter the palace without any suspicions. When the time was right they started attacking. Their main targets are the royal family.

They wished to kill the royal family in hopes to take over ilea. No one knows why, or what they're planning.

Time passed and passed as the country of ilea was in great worry. They were still on live television when the attack broke out. It was as all of the viewers were there too. They were traumatized. Everyone was scared. Are the king and queen okay? Is the prince and princess okay? Are all the precious selected girls okay?

No one knew what to do or think. This day was a day of horror and grief for ilea. It was like 9/11 for the states, but only this felt much worse.

The whole world was in fear of 9/11 even ilea. And by now the word had gotten out around the world of what was going on at the great palace of ilea.

Lili woke up in her bed, almost forgetting what had happened 7 hours prior. But when she remembered, she almost wished she hadn't have woken up. Fear took over her whole body. She noticed it was dark out. But she still needed to know if he was okay. If cami and mads were okay.

She wished all of the original selected girls weren't there. Just so cami and Madelaine wouldn't be hurt.

She rushed to out her room, and headed to the hospital wing. A tear of fear escaped her eye as she arrived.

It was full. People were sharing beds, there was blood almost everywhere. One of the nurses was scrubbing the wall to get it off, but hadn't gotten far yet. She entered looking for him or camila and Madelaine.

"Honey are you okay?" A nurse asked sweetly. Lili took a deep breath. "Camila and Madelaine are they here?" Lili asked quickly. The nurse turned and walked to a table where they had a paper. She looked it over before sighing. "Honey they are over there sharing a bed. Camila was shot in the arm, and Madelaine in the shoulder. They lost a lot of blood" she explained. Lilis heart dropped. She wished it were her instead of them. She walked over to there bed as she saw them laying next to eachother. A few tears ran down her face, as she saw the condition they were both in.

She couldn't handle it, she turned around not being able to look at them anymore. "And the prince? Is he okay?" Lili asked not sure if she even wanted to hear the answer.

"Honey he is in his room" she said looking down.

In his room..... I took a Lili a moment. "Wait-" Lili questioned before the nurse nodded confirming the truth no one wanted to hear......
