It's been about a month since the attack, and the victims are all out of the palace hospitals and now in regular ones. The wedding is coming along quite well, and the two lovers are both so excited to make eachother there's forever. However Coles grief has gotten much worse, he doesn't know how much longer he can hide it. Oakley has been open about it, but has also gotten over it kind of, meaning she doesn't cry every time they're mentioned.

Lilis POV
"Do you like this color for Madelaines dress?" Ashley asked me interrupting me from my thoughts. "Oh yes it's beautiful!" I responded. I heard Cole crying in his room last night. It broke my heart. I know I needed to leave him alone, but it was so hard.

I'm in another meeting for the wedding. We just finished the brides maids dresses, and are now trying to find the appetizers to serve. They gave me a few suggestions, like garlic bread, or little bowls of salad. I didn't really like them.

We kept talking for a while until it was lunch time, I went to lunch to see Cole and oaks already there talking. They smiled as they saw me.

I sat down and we ate. It was just a normal lunch. We talked about how we should all three light lanterns tomorrow night. It sounded so much fun, because last time, things didn't end too well.

We were also all three meeting in Oakleys room tonight to just hang out and have some fun. I was excited. Oakleys like my sister, and Cole well is my almost husband!

Once lunch ended, I went to the garden to read some of my book. I was currently reading rebel without a cause, it was one of the books in the bookshelf from Cole.

I read for about an hour before heading back to my room for some alone time. I mean I was alone in the garden too, but I enjoyed being alone and comfy.

I sat in my bed just thinking over my whole life. It feels like yesterday I was in my room back home crying because I had been chosen for the selection. I can't believe he actually chose me! I mean I can't believe Cole even still gave me a chance after I yelled at him in the garden on the first night. It's so crazy how things change.

"Lili honey are you coming to dinner?" I heard Coles voice as he knocked on my door. I jumped then got up slipping back on my shoes. "yes im coming" I yelled back so he didn't worry.

I stepped out my door and saw him waiting for me. A smile came to my face as I saw him. "Hello my love" he said as we started walking to the dining room. "Hello handsome" I responded smiling.

"Do you know what they're serving tonight?" I asked. He shook his head, "I actually am not sure" he said. I nodded. "Are you excited for tonight?" He asked as we stepped out of the elevator. "Yes! I can't wait, finally a break from all this wedding planning!" I said as we entered the dining room and took our seats. "Lili! Are you okay what took you so long?" Oakley asked as we got to the table.

I smiled, " I lost track of time, I was just thinking" I said she nodded as Cole smiled.

Dinner was amazing. We went straight to Oakleys room after. Some maids had set up like some food, and had just made the room a little bit more fun than it usually is.

We sat on the bed as we started talking about random stuff, but eventually Oakley brought up the subject of their parents. I hated talking about it, I didn't know what to say or how to comfort them. "You know I really want to look at what they started writing, it'll help me a lot" Oakley said. I could feel Cole tense a little as she said that. "I mean of course we don't have to if you don't want to" she said looking at us. I just looked at Cole for an answer. He sighed, "okay I guess" he said.

We all three walked to their room and started looking around for the papers when Oakley found it, "here it is!" She yelled as she held up a few note pages.
