Lili's POV I woke up to someone shaking me. "lili, lili! Wake up your gonna be late" I heard someone say "go away Tess your so annoying!" I yelled back as I heard them laugh "honey it's Anne you need to wake up, we have to get you ready to meet the prince" she said. As I giggled and got up "whoopsies!" I said as they all laughed including me. They then brought me to the bathroom so I could take a bath, and wash my hair.
Once they were done washing me, I sat in front of the bathroom mirror where they dried my hair,( they out her hair in like the two braids on top of her head, like the one that interview)Then put some light makeup on me. After my glam was finished lucy brought in a dress -

And I honestly really liked it! It's not too much like yesterday but it's also not to plain!
Once I have the dress on, I put on some silver high heels (ones in the picture) and headed down. I know I shouldn't be but I am really nervous. Not about meeting the prince, but facing him after last night. I mean he probably won't even know it was me, first because it was so dark, second, I never even told him my name, so I should be fine right?
I finally made it to the room where Ashley told us to meet, and all the girls were already there. Ugh I hated being last. But it seemed I wasn't that late because All the girls were still talking. but before anyone noticed I was there I quickly sat next to Emma seeing she saved a seat for me.
"hey lili you look so pretty as always" she said smiling as she gave me a hug I giggled "thanks I could say the same to you" I said before we heard everyone just stop talking and look over to the door. Me and emma then stopped and looked where everyone else was looking to see the prince entering the room.
He was led to a couch in the front of the room pretty close, but far enough to where we couldn't hear the conversations. "ladies, we will start interviewing starting with Brinley, and down the line" Ashley than announced causing us to look at her and nod. Ok so I still had a little time, I was towards the end but still had like 7 girls after me. Brinley then went to the prince curtsied and sat down. They then began talking.
"Are you nervous?" Emma said interrupting my thoughts. "I mean kinda" I said truthfully. She nodded as she said "yeah same, like i am not nervous to meet him, but I am scared he will send me home today" she said. Oh my gosh! I hadn't thought about that! He is definitely going to send me home today!
your probably wondering why I don't want to leave, I do, but I don't want to leave Emma or my maids, even though it's only been a day. They are practically the first friends I've ever had, considering I could never afford an education besides books, therefore I never really go out in public.
"ok just be prepared I definitely will be sent home today" I warned Emma her smile dropped "why would you say that!" Emma ask concerned "you really think he would be interested in this" I said pointing to myself. she giggled "yes lili! I mean look at you your beautiful, who wouldn't be interested!" She said as I blushed and look down but before I could say anything back "oh it's my turn, good luck for when you go" Emma quickly said as she got up and went to the prince
Oh no it's almost my turn. I started rehearsing apologies this morning so I can just use one of those right! Wrong! They will make me look like I am sucking up to him, like I worship him. 'oh Cole I am so sorry I don't know what got into me, but I promise I am not like that!' Like I would never say that because that's just a straight up lie! I meant what I said yesterday!
I then realized Emma just got up and curtsied which meant it was my turn. Oh no! I quickly made my way to the couch where he was sitting, curtsied and sat down. "why hello my dear" he said cheerfully. Ugh kill me already!
"first of all please don't call me that second I am sorry for last night" I said looking down scared to meet his eyes. "oh dear, don't be sorry I understand, things happen, and I understand if you don't want to go into a relationship right now, that's fine too." he said calmly as I met his eyes.
Wow I definitely wasn't expecting that! Maybe he isn't as bad as I thought! I nodded smiling. "So I am so sorry I never got you name" Cole said quickly "Oh ugh, lili, Lady lili-" "lili reinhart" Cole said interrupting me. I had a confused look and I think he noticed.
"I did some research before this." He said answering my questions I just nodded "you don't talk much do you" he said smiling "I do, but not as much to people I haven't known for that long" I said as he smiled and nodded "okay last question! So do you want to go home today or do you want to stay, you know because of the breakup" he said whispering the last part "um well I mean I want to stay I have made so many friends already, and I wouldn't want to go home just to see him with another girl" I said as he smiled and nodded as he looked at his hand.
His smile dropped "oh gosh it's already been ten minutes" Cole said as he got up me as well "it was nice meeting you lady lili" Cole said with a smile as he kissed my hand and bowed "you as well prince Cole" I said unsure of what to call him. He smiled as I curtsied.
I went to go sit back down by Emma before I got a quick glance of the room to see who was left, only to see all the girls staring daggers into my eyes. I then looked at the girls on the couch same with all these girls. I then looked at Emma to see a soft smile which calmed me instantly.
"Is something wrong? Did I do something?" I asked her worried of why all the girls were so mad. "aww lili it's ok don't worry they are just jealous you got to talk with him for so long, I can tell he likes you already" she said smiling and excited at the last part.
Oh my gosh I hadn't realized they'd all be so mad over that. I then got confused "wait Emma why are you rooting for me, why aren't you trying to win the prince's heart for yourself" I asked confused she then smiled "well I am going to try to fake it and make it into the elite! I have a love back home, that I want to marry.
But I am joining the selection, to make money for that" she said with dreamy eyes. I was in shock! How could someone ever be this selfless! "aw Emma your so sweet and caring and you deserve the world" I said as she giggled to "thanks lils and you deserve the prince!" Emma said as we heard Ashley
"okay girls I know all of you are starving, so it's breakfast time follow me to the dining hall." She said as girls made there way out before Cole cleared his throat and said "ladies those of you I asked to stay back, please stay" he said as a couple of girls made there way to the middle of the room.
Then the rest of us went to follow Ashley hesitantly wondering if were missing out on something.
