Lilis POV (time skip a week to the day of the ball)
Oh my gosh I am so excited! Today is finally the ball! Everyday of the past week, we have had a dance lesson to learn the dances we'll be doing. And we also have a posture and etiquette lesson. It's been so crazy and busy! I haven't even been able to talk to Cole at all except for on Wednesday, we snuck out to the garden and had fun.
"Lili hon wake up" i heard one of my maids say behind me." I sat up excitedly, "Wow someone's excited" she said laughing as I did too. Today we get our breakfast and lunch delivered to our rooms! So we can get ready, and our outfits will be a surprise to everyone.
I sat up and saw breakfast was already delivered, you can eat this and then we'll start getting you ready!" Anne said from the bathroom setting up everything. I just nodded as I started to eat it. "While you eat we're going to have to put these on you" Mary said holding these things for my under eyes. I just nodded as she put them on, then I continued to eat.
Once I was done eating they brought me to the bathroom, where they bathed me, painted my nails, etc. once they were done doing all those "treatments", my lunch came. So I ate lunch, which was more of a snack since they didn't really give us full meals today considering we would be eating a lot of food and dessert tonight.
After I finished the lunch, they started applying makeup, once they were done I got to look in the mirror. "Woah this looks amazing, how are you guys so good at everything" I asked in amazement they laughed, "before we were able to become maids we had to go through two years to learn everything" they said as I nodded still amazed.

After that they started to do my hair, they re highlighted it last week so the roots were blonde again. It took them about an hour to do my hair, before I could look in the mirror only to be shocked again. "Oh my gosh wow it's so pretty" I said patting it as they smiled

After the hair was done, they finally showed me my dress. "Ok ready, 3.....2.....1!" Lucy said as I opened my eyes and saw one of the most beautiful dresses ever! "oh my god, oh my god!" I said in shock. They started laughing. "This is so beautiful!" I said as I went over to look at it closer.
"We had to make it good enough to catch his eye" Mary said as Anne hit her shoulder as we all laughed. I blushed at the thought of him. "How about we put it on" Anne said excited as I nodded

As the girls out the dress on trying not to mess up the makeup, I stood there shocked. It's crazy only a few months ago I was at home, my tiny home, a five, great full to even have bread for breakfast, and now I'm here in an amazing dress, about to go to a royal ball! "honey its on" I heard Lucy say interrupting me from my thoughts.
I nodded and looked in the mirror in amazement. I looked beautiful! Everything was perfect! "lili can you sit on the bed so I can put your shoes on you" Anne said as she held these gorgeous heels.

They put them on and helped me stand in them. Then it tried and walked around the room, i wobbled a couple of times, then got the hang of it! "Ok honey we have a surprise for you, we'll kind of" Anne said as she brought a gift box into the room.
I was confused, what more could they possibly surprise me with?! I opened it to three letters and a picture. I took them out, they're from my family! I looked at the picture first. They got a new house! It was my mom and my sisters posing in front of a new house! I smiled. They look so happy!
I then grabbed the letter and read them, they were from my family also, they all read somewhat along the lines of, we bought a new house, we couldn't have thanked you more! We moved all your stuff into the new house, and how much they missed me.
I smiled in joy that they were happy. I miss them so much. I put them back in the gift box and put it on my desk where I would keep it. I then turned to my maids who were cleaning the bathroom. "Um Lucy what time does the ball start" I asked curious. It starts in about 15 minutes" she said smiling I nodded.
For the next 15 minutes I wrote a letter back to my mom and sisters telling them how much I miss them and that they deserve the house. Once i was done writing them I folded it nicely, and put it in an envelope, where I signed my name with a heart on each one.
"Honey it's time to head down" Anne said at the door. I got up and nodded ready for the night that took place ahead of me......
