He was blue.
He was blue, because every time she saw him - he was wearing that god damn denim jacket.
She wondered if he did in fact wear other things, but she was just never around to see it. And she was somewhat glad of that.
Maybe the fact he always wore the same jacket made him slightly less attractive to her, but she realised it would take a lot more than that to put her off the boy.
Even though his attitude, for the most part, stunk. Only towards her.
"You got bangs?" Juyeon asks, sitting down beside Nari as she stared straight ahead, chewing her food with an annoyed expression on her face.
"No," she says sarcastically.
"I think you did," he says, pulling out his lunch from his bag. "Either that, or I'm blind."
"You must be," she shrugs. "Especially if you're mistaking me for someone who would actually want to sit with you."
The boy chuckles, looking around the lunch hall as he looked back at the girl who refused to look at him. "Your hair suits you."
"Thanks," she says bluntly, sparing him a slight side eye.
"Because it hides half of your face," he says casually, earning a scoff from the girl as he chuckled too. "You know I'm kidding."
"Actually Juyeon, I don't know that," she shakes her head, looking at the boy as though she was disgusted with him. "Do you just come here to piss me off, to make fun of me?"
Juyeon felt bad, he knew his words would come off as harsh, he just never knew how to let a girl know he liked them without being somewhat rude.
The last thing he wanted to do was hurt her, or offend her, but that was his way of flirting. And he knew it was terrible.
"I came here to compliment you," he says with more confidence than he expected. "Believe it or not."
"Exactly, I don't believe it," Nari rolls her eyes, picking at her food. "You can go now."
"What if I don't want to?" He turns in the seat, facing her.
"You can't take no for an answer, can you?" Nari turns to face him as he shook his head, adorably, she may add. "Fine, but we sit in silence."
"Where's Eric today?" He asks the second her mouth closed, earning a glare from the girl.
"He's just as much your friend as he is mine, you should know," she shrugs.
"I need to ask him something," Juyeon says as the girl glances over to him. "So I'm gonna go find him."
"What for?" She asks, watching as he gets up from his seat with a smug look on his face. "Juyeon? Ask him what?"
