Nari took a deep breath, her eyes frantically searching the train station. She tapped her fingers off of her thighs in anticipation, awaiting to see the boy she hadn't for months.

When he emerged from the crowd, opening his arms with that smile upon his face, her nerves didn't falter.

She found herself struggling to run properly, but nonetheless she wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close.

"Hi baby," Jacob smiled, laughing as she only gripped tighter. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," Nari said into the boys hair, pulling away to look at the boy who had changed slightly.

His hair was longer, but every time she saw him it was this way, he just looked more mature now, and she liked it.

"Do I have something on my face?" He wriggled his eyebrows, looking at the girl confused.

"No," she shook her head, blinking. "Just beauty."

"Ew," he scrunched up his nose, kissing her on the forehead before picking up his bags. "Do you think your brother will be okay with us cuddling in the back seat?"

"Absolutely not," Nari said with a grin, trying to take one of his bags although he wouldn't get her.

They approached the car her brother stood against, a smile on his face as he greeted his friend. "Long time no see, my friend."

Nari rolled her eyes at Sangyeon, the two boys hugging it out for a second as she stood there clueless, nonetheless feeling happy about the sight before her.

Months led up to this, and it showed that they could do it for another while. And they would have to.

"Will you come with me?" Nari asked Jacob from the passenger seat, the boy looking over with furrowed eyebrows.

"You really don't want to go in alone," he said confused. "What's wrong?"

"I just can't be bothered if I get any hassle," she shrugged, chewing her bottom lip.

By hassle she meant seeing Haknyeon, she wanted that part of her life with him to be over and done with, and she felt pathetic for feeling like she should have Jacob by her side in case he opened his mouth.

"I'll come in with you, don't worry," he smiled supportively, the girl relaxing in her chair.

Leaving her job would be a sad milestone, having worked there for so long it did feel bittersweet, but she wanted to enjoy the summer care free.

By the time they got there Nari saw Haknyeon at the front door, meaning she could easily walk past him if he didn't open his mouth.

His mouth which was still cut and his face which was still slightly bruised had kept him remotely silent for days.
