She was stunned when he suddenly grabbed her left hand and hug her tight as if he don't wan't to lost her again. Hindi siya nakagalaw sa mga sandaling iyon na para bang pinoproseso pa lang ng utak niya ang mga nagaganap. She was shocked to everything that's happening right now.

Kanina lamang ay parang mababakas sa boses ng kaibigan niyang si Kai na wala itong pakealam sa kanya but right now here he is, hugging her tight at hindi na rin siya makahinga ng maayos dahil sa higpit ng pagkakayakap nito sa kanya. Woah that was fast. She didn't expect that this man who is hugging her is still the same. He's still the man that loves to hug her. The childish man she used to know for the past five years. She's back from her bestfriend's arms.

"Aren't you going to hug me back Maddie. Aren't you miss me?"

Biglang nawala ang pagkabahala sa magandang mukha nito at napalitan ng pagkalito dahil sa narinig mula sa kaibigan niya. What the hell! Still childish!! Sigaw ng isip niya. She rolled her eyes and slowly move her hands to his back and cares it gently.

She don't know what to feel. She's happy, nervous, and confused at the same time. Hindi ba siya galit dito. Bakit imbes na magalit ay niyakap siya nito? Aren't he going to say hurtful words. She like it when he's this sweet still, but, why the hell he's more sweet now. Nakalunok ata siya ng isang galong asukal na animo'y pati langgam ay mahihiya sa kasweetan niya. What's wrong with him!! Kumalas si Kai ng yakap sa kanya and so she is. They stared at each others eyes and remained silent for a second. She's still shocked and all she can do is to stare at the man in front of her.

Napapikit siya ng mariin nung makitang naglakad na si Kai pabalik sa swivel chair nito at prenteng naupo roon habang siya ay hindi nakagalaw at nanatiling nakatayo kung nasaan man siya.

She rolled her eyes secretly again when she saw her bestfriend in serious mode again. Seriously, this man is out of his mind! He can change his facial expression in just a blinked of an eye. He's freaking bipolar and she hate it!! Pero, sino ba naman siya diba? She's just his secretary after all.

"So, tell me, bakit hindi ka nagpaalam sa'kin. I went to your house the next day but you aren't there and I just found out that you went to Manila to finish your studies"

Natutop niya ang sariling bibig dahil sa pagbubukas nito ng usapan nila. This man is unbelievable. Why the hell they need to talk about the past right here?

She wait for a second to finally find her voice to talk to. She sighed.

"I-I'm sorry" she stuttered. It's just the only words that came out from her mouth. She don't know what to say.
