Napapakagat sa labi si Maddie habang iniisip ang pinag-usapan nilang dalawa ni Kai three days ago. She's been thinking what the hell comes on Kai's head and he did that thing. Masyado ata siyang nagmadali and then voila!! They're married.

She shooked her head and threw the pillow on the sofa while frowning. She's speechless the moment he told her what's their status. Sinong hindi magugulat kapag nagpaalam yung tao sayo na manliligaw then isang araw malalaman mo na lang na kasal na pala kayo and worst, hindi niya yun alam.

Muli siyang umiling at napasandal na lang sa head rest ng kama niya or must he say, kama nilang dalawa ni Kai.

She roamed her gaze around and she can't help but to be amazed. Ilang araw na silang naninirahan sa iisang bahay ni Kai pero hindi parin talaga siya makapaniwala na mag-asawa na sila and it's been a month since she was discharge from the hospital and Kai immediately told her that they're married and he insist that she would stay on his mansion. Syempre kasama nila sa mansion ang ina niyang si Martha at ang dalawa niyang kapatid but they're not around because her mother Martha is busy managing the restaurant that Kai gave her and the two kids went to school.

She smiled sweetly at herself. Everything seems peaceful right now. She can now finally free to hang out but still, she can't walk. She's trying her best to walk and everytime Kai is with her, she feels safe on his arms and he's been with her, helping her to walk pero ngayon ay wala si Kai and it is because he's been working so hard for his company including the De Villa's Corporation na nabawi na niya.

Tila mas gusto pa niyang maging secretary na lang ulit because the moment she saw all of his father's property that she'll manage when she can walk again, it's very stressing, thinking how can she manage such big company including the hotel and restaurants!!? Believe her or not, mas gusto niyang bumalik sa pagiging secretary.

She sighed and grabbed her loptop on the bedside table. Ang pag-aaral kung paano patakbuhin ang mga negosyo ng namayapa niyang ama ang kanyang libangan sa tuwing araw ng pahinga niya mula sa paglalakad-lakad. Ang tanging kasama niya sa mansion ni Kai ay ang mga katulong at mga bodyguards at yun naman ang kinaiinis niya sa lahat.

It's been a month since their life becomes peaceful again but look what Kai just did. The mansion has a lots of bodyguards and it's really frustrating her. She guest, there's a total of 30 guards they have and a total of five maids. Kung hindi ba naman kasi kalahati't over sa karangyaan ang asawa niya, matagal na palang nakapag-patayo ng mansion in case kinasal na sila. Ang advance masyado.

She was reading some emails on her loptop when her phone suddenly rang. Kai's name is on her phone screen kaya agad-agad niya itong sinagot.

"[How's my wife?]" said the sweet voice of Kai on the other line. Ang kaninang nakasimangot na mukha ni Maddie ay umaliwalas na the moment she heared his voice.

She shooked her head while smiling sweetly. Look what Kai just did to her. His sweetness making her heart melts. He never change kahit minsan ay ma-atittude siya.

"I'm okay" she uttered while smiling. How's work?" she added.

"[D*mn!! Mas inuna mo pang kamustahin yung trabaho kesa sa'kin]"

Maddie laugh when she heared on the other line the muffled voice of Kai. She can imagined him massaging his temple right now just because she did not asked him how is he.

"My goodness. Are you serious!!" she mumbled in shockness. She can't believe him but suddenly, she shooked her head and smiled again.

"[Yeah?]"

"Yeah?" she laugh. "So how's my husband?" she asked in defeat and then rolled her eyes when she heared him chuckled on the other line.
