***Age 11***

I served underneath the Marleyans for only a year, and it wasn't the best job for me to live on. I had too, because I had no family to go back to. They were killed by being turned into titans, just because they tried to sneak away from jail. This was my punishment, but then again I made a few friends. Pieck is my closest friend, she was so nose and gentle at the same time. Just recently Pieck, Annie, Bertholdt, Marcel, Reiner and Zeke were chosen to be the next warriors. Sadly Reiner was leaving me in a few hours, and he was also a family friend and also a child crush on him.

"Reiner!" I call out, as I saw him turn around. He steps down from the bridge bidding his goodbyes, before heading towards me. He embraces me, as I hold him tightly. "Please.....please stay alive, and bring back peace and honour to your family and Eldia?"

"I promise you I will back," he says with a cheeky grin, before kissing my cheek making me stand there in shock. "Anyway I better get going, bye!!!!"

He runs back up to the ship as I felt tears fall hearing everyone waving and saluting them goodbye, as I stood there hoping and praying for his return. "Bye Reiner!!!!" i wave, shouting out loud.

I felt a hand on my shoulder looking up to see my guardian as he took me in to take care of me, and to watch over me so I wouldn't betray Marley. "Come on (Y/N), you need to go and train," he says sternly, his eyes piercing into my own.

"RIght, y-yes sir," I nod, as we both head off. I turn my head once more seeing Reiner waving to me before I left the area.

***Ten Years Later*** age: 21**

We finally ended the small four year war as I saw Reiner's armoured titan came in along with the beast titan, but for some odd reason I had my heart racing. I haven't seen him in ages, and apparently he was in the medical wing after that battle using a lot of his energy.

"Big Sister (Y/N), how long haven't you seen my big cousin?" Gabi questions, making me smile gently. I ruffle her brunette hair gently, making me look at the four young kids.

"It's been ten years, and I missed him terribly," i reply, as I look out to the horizon.

"Wow, so are you two in love?" Zofia questions, knowing they have already seen him earlier this afternoon.

My eyes widen, "Um.....n-no, we are just close friends," I stammer, shaking my head. 

"Reiner!!!!" I hear Gabi exclaim, as I turn my head to see a tall broad man. My heart pounds heavily, as his eyes widen. Gabi embraces him in a tight big hug, as he returns it ruffling her hair. He then walks up to me as I felt tears run down, not knowing how to react to his return. I reach out touching his cheek gently, as I cup his cheek.

"Reiner.....you returned," i tear up, as he leans into my touch against my hand. He places his hand on top of mine, before pulling me into his arms.

"I'm here, I promised you I will," he pecks my forehead, realising how short I was compared to him. 

"Dammit, you had me worried," i held onto him tightly, as tears stream down.

"So you two are together!!!" Gabi claims, as my eyes widen.

"N-No....I just--"

I felt him wrap his arm around my waist before pulling me close, as I felt his lips against mine. My eyes widen in shock.

"She is totally been denying it!!!!" Gabi shouts, as I melt into the warm kiss.

"Well I was gonna ask you to be mine the moment I return," he smirks, kissing me again making me relax in his touch.

"Ew!!!" Gabi comments in disgust.

"You asked for it," Udo comments.

"Anyway we better get our things together, we are heading home tonight in victory!!!" I say trying to change the topic, as I felt Reiner wrap his arm around me. He then leans near my ear, as his breathe hits my neck.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Sure," i giggle nervously.

We both walk into the section with our families except I didn't have one to go back too, as I stayed back. "(L/N), if you don't have a family you may have to go back and train," I hear the commander, when out of nowhere I felt someone wrap their hand around my wrist.

"She is with me, she is my girlfriend," I hear, as I saw Reiner beside me.

"Reiner..."

"That's fine then," the commander says, unsure what to say next.

Reiner picks up his pace as we both stopped when he catches his families eye, "Reiner, my big boy!" i hear his mother cry out, as she embraces him while I stood behind him.

"It's been a while," he replies, as he pulls away.

"It has, and is that you (Y/N)?" She questions in disbelief. "My haven't you grown and matured into a fine young lady."

"It's nice to see you, Mrs Braun," I reply, as she hugs me.

"Mother she has no place to go, can she stay with us?" Reiner explains, as he holds my hand. She looks at our hands, as her eyes light up.

"Finally!" She exclaims. "You two are together?"

"Yes,"

"I'm so happy and of course you can stay with us, darling," She says, as we all began to head back to the house.

I sat on the end of his bed as we have eaten and talked for a bit, as I hug myself. They didn't have much room to sleep due to the amount of room they have, as Reiner offered for me to share a room with him for the time being.

"Hey," I hear him say gently, as I send him a smile.

"Hey," i yawn, stretching my limbs.

"Can I just say.......you are beautiful," He blushes deeply, making me do the same.

"T-Thank you,"

He then lifts his shirt up as my eyes widen seeing how tone he was, as he ruffles his blonde hair. He then walks over to me before scooping me up and lying me down beside him, as we both share the same bed.

I face him burying my face into his chest ignoring the fact that he was hot, just wanting to feel his warmth against me. "I missed you, so much," I whisper gently, as he strokes my hair ever so gently.

"Same, every night I would always look out to the stars and talk to you," he says. "I know we were kids then, but........growing older my feelings were more mutual and romantic. I swore the moment i come back i would tell you, even if you found someone else."

"Reiner....."

"I love you, that's how I feel,"

"Same," i lay my head on his broad chest, closing my eyes. "Anyway night Reiner, we can catch up more tomorrow."

"Yeah that's fine," he whispers, before pecking my forehead gently as I drift off asleep knowing he is safe and beside me.
