Since I've placed myself in the Survey Corps...........

.......I saw a different side of the world.....

Always being tucked away from the reality I soon was revealed the harsh truth, that I had another family that was unknown.......

Not knowing that Historia and I had an important father, that would cost our mother's life and the fall of the Reiss family........

.....what would I know? I was taken away from my little sister, somewhere that only tore me away from the only family I knew of...........

"My lady, we should get going," (BG/N) addresses me formerly, standing up from the wooden chair that rested against the wall near her shared bunk. "You've been quite out of it lately, let's go for a walk or something...clear your head..."

Shaking my head, I fall exasperatedly back upon the mattress beneath me.

Staring at the ceiling my mind went blank again, "I'm fine, and don't address me as Lady......not while we're here," sighing deeply, my eyes flutter shut wanting the darkness to swallow me whole. "Also, any news on the expedition? Did Commander Erwin say anything, with who's assigned to the mission this month round?"

"........"

"(BG/N)?" sitting up, she clears her throat before avoiding my eyes. Clearly she's not impressed about something, and she couldn't keep it from me.

"I'm not listed on the expedition, I'm afraid," she replies, seeing the disappointment flickering behind her eyes. "You're listed in the expedition, and under Captain Levi's squad this time.....which I'm a little relieved about."

My bodyguard has also been by my side, since I was quite young. Loyal she is, not once has she ever let me down. 

"I'll be alright," I assure her, leaning against the wooden beam of the bunk bed. My eyes rested upon the flickering candle light, beside her bed. Shrugging my shoulder, a smile soon graces upon my lips, lifting my gaze, "Seriously, a quick mission and we'll be back before you know it."

(B/N) was rather hesitant, but silently nods.

"Okay, I'll......try my best not to worry," exhaling deeply, she sat down beside me. Still a troubled expression settles upon her face, as all I could was just wait til tomorrow comes. Clearly she didn't want me to going without her, but a part of her had faith in Levi's squad to keep me safe and protected. Though I should also use the best of my abilities, and rely on my own strength too. 

That was another reason why I joined the Scouts, and that's not to run away.....

"You know he's leading you, right?" (B/N) spoke up, after the long paused silence that drifted between us. "Don't get distracted, and--"

"--Keep myself focused on the mission, I know," my eyes flicker to hers, only to be met with a teasing grin on her face. "Come on, I'm not twelve........it's a a little crush--"
