It hasn't been that long since Isabel, Farlan, Levi and I were sent up from the underground, with force by the wings of freedom. They found us using their stupid ODM gear illegally, which caused us to be arrested or get a privilege to work with the wings of freedom. Levi was in charge so he chose to follow instructions, with the rest of us with him.

I look around the mess halls looking for Levi, when I realise where he would be. Tomorrow we are going on an expedition, and Isabel seems excited to kill her first titan. To be honest I was scared, but once I get use to it I will become stronger.

I walk up to the top of the tower opening a door to reveal Levi looking up into the sky night, when he notices my presence. He held a concerned face, but the way the moon shone down on him made him look more gentle and kind. Like he was glowing.

"L-Levi," I whisper, walking up to him and sitting down beside him. "I am going with you, I want to fight beside you."

"No, you are staying here," he says sternly.

"But...."

"I said no!"

"Are you dad? No!" I snap angrily, facing him. "I am not yours to keep locked away, I want to fight with you. Til the end. I can't lose you."

He sighs deeply as he looks into my eyes deeply, when I hear the door open seeing Isabel and Farlan. "Bro," Isabel calls for him.

"Levi," Farlan says. "Let's talk about this, no matter how I look at it, you going alone is a bad idea."

"That's what I said," I say.

"You said that when we first step outside of these walls, it'll be all four of us together, right?" Isabel questions him, arms folded. "Have you forgotten?"

Levi looks away from them, "It's the same," he replies bluntly. "Without the moon and stars, the night is just as dark above ground as below it."

"Levi, it may be dark now," I began.

"But it's different," Isabel jumps in. "We know that there is no ceiling! It's completely different!"

"That's right, the sky is endless," Farlan nods in agreement. "It may be the same darkness, but it's different from the underground."

I then saw the moon appear from the clouds, "Hey like that Levi!" I say, pointing to the moon. "It's so bright, it's the beauty of the darkness. Right?"

The two sat down with Isabel on my side and Farlan on Levi's side, "It feels different, doesn't it?" Isabel asks Levi.

"Of course," Farlan smiles gently. "We're not underground.

After a while of silence I broke it, "We won't go down there again," I began. "We will pull through together, all of us."

Levi sat close to me when I felt his hand lace with mine feeling his warmth, making my cheeks grow bright red. Levi and I had a close relationship, but nothing more. To be honest I have fallen in love with him, but I have to keep my boundaries. He would never love me.

"It'll be the same as the titans," Isabel comments. "Let's do this together."

"Levi, believe in us," Farlan says, turning to Levi.

Levi's eyes widen as his breathe hitches in his throat at the words, knowing he could rely on us than going alone. He then looks up into the moon, "All right," he breathes out, making me smile warmly. He then lowers his head, "I believe in you."
