Everyone from the military that were from the Liberio Internment zone returned a few days ago, as it was quiet for the time being. Lately I have been hearing that Valentines day was just around the corner, and it was rare for the internment zone to hold a festival for the small event.

"Big Sister (Y/N)!!!" I hear, as I turn to see Gabi, Zofia, Udo and Falco.

"Hey, what are you four doing for the festival today?"

"Well, we came to let you know that Colt wants to meet you at the front gate," Zofia replies, in monotone.

"Oh okay,"

"It's a day about love!!" Gabi teases, making me blush.

"S-So w-what, it's a special day," I stammer, hiding my red face.

"Just go find my brother, he said it was urgent," Falco says, but then I notice them smiling like cheeky children. I shake my head softly, a small curls upon my lips before heading towards the front gate.

I finally make it to the front gate seeing a familiar blonde male standing there, looking around with his hands stuffed into his pockets. I notice he looks nervous for some reason, as I race up to him and embraced him out of nowhere.

"H-Hey!!" he exclaims, when he realises it was me. "B-Baby......d-don't do that! I could've hurt you!"

"It's okay, so the kids said you wanted me?"

"Y-Yeah.....so you know what today is?" He questions, as his hands interlock with mine warmly. His hazel green eyes look into mine, seeing them quite warm.

"Um.....hmm, is it your birthday?" I question, pretending to be clueless.

"No, that's further away," He laughs.

"Hmmm.......well there is a small festival," I began, when I thought i will answer honestly. "It's Valentines day."

"Yes, and I was wondering......um....if you wanna go spend the day with me as my Valentine?" He asks, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"No, i don't want too," i reply, sarcastically seeing him look slightly disappointed. "Come on, you know I'm joking. Yes.......I would like that."

"Good," he breathes out, chuckling under his breathe he took my hand and headed downtown.

Colt and I have known each other for as long as we could remember, as kids we were always thinking about what our future would be like for us Eldian's. How long we would live? Would I be good enough soldier for Commander Magath and be the holder of a titan? I only had my grandmother as the only person I could fight for, and that's how I met the Grice family. Colt was always coming over to my place day in and day out, and he was besotted with me when we were only thirteen. 

As kids we should focus on our future than love, but i guess Commander Magath wanted both of us to serve under him and for Marley. Fate took it's toll on Colt and I, and well, our bond grew stronger. Knowing if he became a candidate for the beast titan, he would not live long enough to have a full life with me.
