Every night was a new night, fresh and clear after a bloody bath of missions and battles. It was like the night was meant to cleanse our souls, to pure ourselves after a hard day. It felt peaceful, and calming. I have also felt like the moon was changing each night, watching it change places. But every night I knew my love for someone grew stronger, as I have always longed for his embrace. His touch, and also his heart.

Very cliche in my head but that's how i felt and there is no turning back, and besides I don't know whether he will know or not. I guess, I don't want to ruin the relationship we have now. We have known each other for a long time, and yet.......I have fallen for him. Levi Ackerman. The strongest soldier alive, and the most handsome man i have known.

Heading out to the balcony to clear my thoughts, I felt the cold air nip my skin sending soft gentle chills down my spine before leaning against the railing. Looking up, i felt the brightness of the moon grow more brighter. 

A small smile curls upon my lips, "I wish.....wish that I would be in his arms," i whisper softly, before chuckling to myself. I rub my hands together, creating some warmth.

I am a squad leader, Captain in fact and I have always had a strong connection with all my cadets. Now they have all grown up, they are officers. Watching them grow taller than me, or grow more beautiful or handsome, I was still proud of them. Even growing alongside Levi since the very beginning when he was brought up from the underground, we had a strong connection.

{Meanwhile}

Levi's pov:

Sighing deeply as I tap my papers I went to grab another black tea, before I head out to watch under the stars. I rub my tired eyes, before ruffling my hair tousling it until I felt satisfied with my aching body. Once I made it to the kitchen I saw Hanji there, as she notices my presence.

"Ahh Levi....what brings you here?" She questions.

"Tea,"

"Black tea, I presume?" She asks, with a cheeky grin.

"What do you really want, four eyes?" i question, knowing she was trying to beat around the bush. She chuckles, shoving her glasses to the bridge of her nose.

"Okay, okay......I was wondering about (Y/N)," She says, making my head slightly perk up in slight interest of her beautiful name. The way it rolls off anyone's tongue, made my heart race for some weird reason. Dammit. I shouldn't be this lovey dovey, it isn't like me. "Are you two a thing?"

"What?"

"You two have known each other for a while and I have seen it all, but you two seem really close," She explains, as I roll my eyes.

"None of your business,"

"Come on Levi.......I'm your best friend! I know the way you look at her!" She beams, placing a hand on my shoulder as I shrug it off. I head to make my tea, as she laughs. "Alright, well see you later!"

"Finally," i whisper, before I start pouring the already boiled water. Once I made my tea, I walk back to my office slowly rubbing my eyes with my free left hand. Once I walk in, I head to the balcony finding her peacefully watching the moon. 

She looks so beautiful under that moon, and her skin looks so soft that I wish to be by her. To her hold her close to me and help her. My eyes still linger upon her beauty, as a sigh escapes past my lips. I sip my tea lightly, when I notice a small tear drop fall from her cheek making me look up in curiosity before shaking my head not to worry about it. In a few weeks we are raiding Liberio under Eren's letters, but I was still pissed he wandered off without us knowing. Let's hope we survive this, and I hope we all make it back safely.

***Few Weeks Later ~ In Liberio***

Your pov:

We finally just raided Liberio as we started to be collected by Hanji and Onyankopon, as we all land down inside the airship that was being piloted by Onyankopon. I breathe out heavily, placing a tender hand on my chest gathering my breathe watching everyone cheering to their mighty hearts.

I walk up to Sasha and Jean along with Connie, ruffling their heads in response to how grateful they have returned safely. I guess, i found them like my own children. Knowing I should have my own family, I wanted my own when we get this mess out of the way.

*Crash*

"Huh?" Sasha questions, as I could sense something.

"I heard something," i whisper softly, but the noise fills the airship making me pinch the bridge of my nose in annoyance. The noise pounds against my skull, just wanting to lie down and sleep. 

"Hey!! Quiet down!!!" Jean shouts in annoyance, hearing the conversation between me and Sasha.

"Make some noise! Victory!!" Floch shouts.

"Hey!!" jean continues to quieten the men down.

"Isn't Lobov still out there?" Connie questions, as I turn to him. I felt a sick feeling in my gut, before turning to Sasha. Just then Jean, Connie and I saw someone crawl onto the ship as my eyes widen, before seeing the rifle aim at Sasha. With my top speed, i jump right in front of her with me shoving her to the side. That's when I felt numb all over, as the gunfires feeling the piercing sensation go right through my chest. 

Everything starts slowing down, "Captain (Y/N)!!!" Sasha cries out, as Jean, Connie and Sasha rush to my side.

"Get Captain Levi, now!!!!" Jean yells, as Sasha rushes to her feet feeling my vision blur. I turn my head to see the moon shine brightly through the opened door, as a soft smile curls upon my lips. I try to fight the pain, my body from shutting down as Connie and Jean tried to stop the bleeding. My vision then was filled of three Levi's, when it starts resting to one.

"Dammit (Y/N)!" he yells, as he tries to stop the bleeding. "Oi.....stay with me!! You idiot, we need you! I need you!!!"

All I could do was smile softly and turn my head slightly to where the moon is, "I-Isn't....the moon.....beautiful.....t-tonight," I croak out, before all the air leaves my lungs. That's when everything turns to darkness, consuming me into a white world before I saw a tall blonde male lending a hand to me.

"Welcome.....(Y/N),"

"E-Erwin....?"

{Meanwhile}

Levi's pov:

My breathe hitches in my throat feeling my world crash down, "No.....nononononono, please wake up!!!" I yell, as her eyes were held still open. I then close her eyes slowly, knowing she is gone. "Dammit!!!"

Her body was drenched in her own blood, staining my hands and suit but I didn't give a damn. I then lean down slowly, kissing her lips gently before pulling away slowly with small tears rolling down. "Goodbye, I love you.....(Y/N)," i whisper, as I could hear our cadets crying. 

Mikasa, Armin ran out to us as their eyes widen in shock, along with everyone as they all loved her. She was always a calm and sweet woman, but can also be a total badass when we fought. Yet, she made many people smile with her presence. Even me, for someone so stoic, I too have fallen and smiled for her. For my dear (Y/N) (L/N). I will see you, when all this is over. I swear it.
