Levi's POV

"This will surely get the Bad Man away from Miss Hanji!" What was that brat saying now? I turned my attention away from making them chocolate chip pancakes to see Eren looking down at some phone. Quickly, I tapped my pockets to ensure it wasn't my phone. "Hehe... Armin, it'll work, right?"

"M-Maybe?" He replies.

"What are you guys doing?"

My voice made the trio all jump with fear. Eren bashfully smiled and hid the phone behind his back. "N-Nothing..." He says in such a tone that made me raise an eyebrow. Eren saw my face- probably scaring him because he began to drag his feet as he went towards me. He showed me Hanji's phone- how he was on her social media. What was posted? That picture when I was sitting down with Hanji and speaking to her.

"Eren, what is this? What did you do?"

Ashamed, Eren's eyes began to water. I didn't raise my voice- just lowered it. "I don't want the Bad Man to be with Miss Hanji... I want her to be with you... and he's just a bad, bad man."

I turned the stove off after finishing the last batch of pancakes. I knelt on the ground with one knee, looking right in his emerald eyes of his. "So you took a picture of the two of us and posted it?"

He nodded his head. "N-Nanaba said it was easy to do..."

"Don't ever do this in the future, okay? Now, I'll give you a choice. One: you give me the phone and I'll explain it to Hanji on what you did. Or two: you can go straight to her and tell her what you did. Understand? Choose."

I was expecting him to give me the phone, so I had my hand out. Instead, he turned around and dragged his feet upstairs- to Hanji, I assume. His little friends followed him too, never wanting to be left behind.

Just as I was trying to settle myself down, my phone began to buzz. Taking a look, it was Farlan. "What do you want?" I scowled softly as I started to clean up the kitchen while talking to him on the phone. "I'm sorta busy right now."

"Wanted to know how things are going along with that girl- you know, the one that had you in it."

"What picture?" Immediately, I thought of the one Eren had taken- but there's no way that he- wait... didn't he say Nanaba helped him?! Those two... "Ignore that picture. We're not a thing."

"First you asked what picture, then it seems you know exactly which picture it was? A little odd, huh?" He chuckles and I can see that bastard's smile on his face. "I mean, that girl posted it... she clearly thinks something of you."

"No, she didn't post it. One of the kids here at the orphanage did. Apparently, that kid got another adult to help him tag me in it. So honestly- ignore it. The thing between us is nothing. There's nothing going on between us. Don't get all sappy, Farlan."

"Sheesh... I mean, I made a bet with Isabel-"

"You did what?! About what?"

Farlan chuckles- oh, how it echoed clearly in my head. "When you would start dating the girl. Isabel said... sometime next month. I said by the end of this month. Help me out here."

"You've dug your own grave."

"It's $50 on the line, Levi. Come on- just go up to her and kiss her or something! Come on, else we can release this whole betting thing to the other officers. I wonder how much money we would earn from that."

With my free hand, I began to massage my forehead, groaning heavily. "You're all messed up- just somehow. Goodbye."

"Levi-" Oh, the sweet relief of the call ending.

You know... it's suddenly quiet again. Where were those damn brats now?

"Nanaba, this doesn't help me in any way!" I hear Hanji's voice drifting from upstairs. Her voice wasn't that scary, but if I were to get her angry... I would stay away from her. "Look, I have to deal with Erwin right now-"

"Then, just call him up and say you're done with him. I'm just looking out for ya, okay?"

Hanji sighed heavily, and there was a soft thud. "I just... am I making the right decision? Announcing it to Erwin that we're officially over?"

"I would think that'll be safe."

"Okay then..."

I shouldn't be eavesdropping... I really shouldn't... but I wanted to hear what she had to say. Like a little child, I put my ear against her door, attempting to listen every word. It would've been easier to go into the room I was staying in and listen in there... but honestly... I rather be out here.

"Hey, Erwin...? About that picture online... I've made my choice. I don't want to be with you, anymore... eh? What about Levi? No, I'm not dating him. I didn't post that picture... but it did help me realize that... I'm better off without you. I hope you'll have a better relationship with someone else."

She... really did break up with him.
