Hanji's POV

"Oi... Hanji... hello?! Earth to Hanji! Girl!" A sudden snap of her fingers finally called me back to life. Startled, I jumped and saw Nanaba with her backpack on. Her eyes narrowly looking at me- like I left the stove on or- oh god, I did leave it on! "Hanji, what is with you?"

Finally adding in the noodles to the boiling water, I turned to Nanaba to answer her. "I... I did something..."

"Like leave the stove on?"

I shook my head, smiling as I thought about Levi and that kiss... I confessed what happened. What I found in the history of this place... I kept that as a secret. Instead, I told her about me going out of town to buy cookies for Levi and took it right to his office. How we shared a tender moment... how he kissed me first... and the little date thing we have tonight.

Nanaba, of course, gave a smile and chuckled. Once I've concluded it, she says, "Well... finally, you guys kissed. But you guys... are going to date soon? At least make sure he gets protection-"

"Nanaba- we're not doing anything like that!" My voice had risen, and it only made Nanaba chuckle. "Nanaba- get your head out of the gutter! B-Besides... if we even got to that..." My voice trailed away as I sighed. Remembering what I heard from my family members... "I might not even have kids..."

She walked closely, flicking my ear slightly. "Cheer up. You got these great kids. Who cares if you can't have kids? If Levi's a true gentleman, he wouldn't give a flying f- he wouldn't care if you can't give birth. He would only care about you and only you. You hear me?"

"Then uh... what about your mind in the gutter?"

"Oh, sweetie, you know me. You can't get my head out of it when my mind is already swimming in the gutter."

"Gross- I rather not know your little hobbies when I'm not around, Nanaba. A-Anyways- can you watch the kids tonight? I'll probably be gone for the whole entire night... I know you hate the night-watch-"

Nanaba chuckled, patting me on the back. "You go girl- you go and you have a wonderful evening with Levi. You're lucky to have a man like him. Please, don't think so poorly about yourself. You're lucky... so spend that night well. Plus, always have protection."

"Nanaba!"

"Dressing so fancy for just staying at my apartment?" Levi's soft chuckles floating into my head as he approached the door. "You don't have to dress up. I thought you would dress down, honestly."

I smiled, leaning into his body. For such a small man, he was quite buff. I've never been in his arms, but once he hugged me... I could feel his abs directly under his uniform. I wonder... what they look like... but that would mean he would need to take off his shirt... willingly.

"Come on, we'll discuss on what we can have for dinner tonight, alright?"

Once more, I smiled again. "Alright then," I finally answered him.

So many thing I've learned just by being in his arms. Levi made me pasta... with shrimp. We didn't want to have the awkward talk at the table, so we decided to bring our meal to the TV and watch as we ate.

Just as we were done eating, I leaned into Levi's arms and he held me closely. His head near my ear, almost tickling me. "Well? What would you like to know about me?" He asked, holding me tightly. "You said you wanted to know more about me... which part of me would you like to know?"

"H-Honestly? Anything..."

Levi chuckles softly, caressing my cheek. "Anything, Hanji? Well... don't be vague next time, okay? Else a topic you wouldn't like would... pop up." When he said that, I could feel my cheeks burning red. "Well... hm... you already know about me living at that orphanage..."

My head began to lean into his chest as I smiled so foolishly. "Yes, I do know about that. Tell me... I want to know how you were as a kid. Getting into fights, huh? You sound like Eren. Like you were badass when you were just young as well."

"To start off, my mom died when I was young. My uncle took me in... and his name was Kenny. I hate my middle name so much because of him. He left me to this orphanage, and everyone teased about how no one wanted a child of... a woman who sold her own body. They all had bad ideas about me. Didn't help when all the kids began to spread rumors as well."

"That's horrible..."

"Horrible, yes, but I'm glad to have met Farlan. He was... one of my only friends."

"Farlan... the one at the station as well?"

Levi nods his head, continuing to caress my cheek.

"Huh... how interesting..."

"What? You think that's interesting about me? Oh well.... tell me something about you, Hanji. Something about your childhood."

Hours ticked on by as we told stories about each other. The fact I've met him through this way... it scares me. Not long after I broke up with Erwin... I began to fall far from my pedestal. Falling into Levi's arms.

I just finished showering... and I sat on the couch, watching TV. The sound of the water pattering in the bathroom, I couldn't help but think Levi was there. I mean, yeah, he was there... but... there was this feeling I couldn't push away.

"Sleepy yet?"

Looking up, I saw Levi drying his hair with a towel. Sweatpants on- and that was it. His chest was bare, revealing a few old cuts and his well-sculptured abs. My face turned red when I saw such a view. I know I wanted to know what he looked like underneath it all... but...

"Hanji?"

He called my name, sitting next to me on the couch. Instantly, I reached out to his abs, tracing my fingers all over it.

"Alright then," he chuckles, laying on the couch. He beckons me closer with his hand, and I followed his pleas. He pulled me onto his chest- right where I could hear his beating heart. His warm engulfing me... "We'll sleep here then."

"Sorry..."

"You're fine, Hanji... you can do whatever you want with me- as long as it's tonight. Because... whatever you want, I'll do it for you- just for tonight, okay?"
