Levi's POV
Waking up, I saw Hanji sleeping on my chest. Her glasses had long fallen to the ground. Her hair was frantic and thrown all over the place. Though I shuddered without a shirt on, just having Hanji's warmth on me was enough. Using my right hand, I carefully caressed her cheek, smiling gently.
"You are cute, huh? I feel bad for taking you away from your ex-boyfriend..."
Yet at the same time, I felt no regrets. I was able to spend such an amazing time with her... and I will forever cherish this moment with her. Oh Hanji... can I ask you to be mine forevermore?
Suddenly, she began to stir in her sleep, groaning softly. "You're up already?" I asked, continuing to caress her soft cheeks. "Good morning, Hanji." The second she starts to rub her weary eyes, she had yawned. "Hungry?"
"Please..."
"What do you want to eat?"
"I... I don't know..."
Leaning down, I was just able to kiss her forehead. "Tell me, and I'll make it for you. There's a limit, of course. But if I can make it, I'll make it."
She then smiled, chuckling softly as she turned her head onto the other side. "Okay then... I want a full meal. Pancakes, eggs, bacon... and coffee. I want dark brew, please..." Such a tall order... but I'll make it possible. "Is that too much, Levi?"
I then shook my head. "No, it's not too much. Though, I would appreciate it if you get off of me. If you want your breakfast, get off of me."
"Ugh... fine..."
She complied, giving me such a pouty face. She then started to watch something on the TV, leaving me alone to deal with her order. As expected, it took just about an hour to make her food. Everything just took about an hour or so.
"Enjoying it?" I asked, smiling as I saw her eating it in the corner of my eye. I was too busy scrolling through my phone, seeing so many missed messages from Farlan and them. After awhile, I looked up and left my phone on mute. "Sorry it took so long. I can't multitask that well."
"It was well-worth the wait, Levi." She smiled brightly, using her hand to call me closer. "Come here."
I followed her commands, leaning against the counter and leaning close to her face. "What did you want?"
"A kiss."
"Tsk, you're childish. Though, it's expected since you raise such kids. You inherited their nature as kids. Is it normal for you to be such immature or something like that?" I chuckled slightly, running my nose against her cheek. "Oh well... this is what I caught... isn't it, Hanji?"
She smiled softly, turning slight red. "Aww... that's a little mean..."
"Hey- I'm saying that I'm glad to have you."
"Using that kind of tone-"
"Shut up, Four Eyes." Hanji chuckled, pointing at me. Recalling her previous statement... I guess I am being a little mean. Then, there was a series of knocks at the door. "Saved." I muttered under my breath, chuckling a bit.
"Levi, you big meanie."
My eyes rolled a bit as I approached the door. Clinking against the fragile plates, Hanji began to eat away at her breakfast. As I peered into the peephole- I couldn't believe it... "Son of a..." I opened the door, scowling as soon I opened it. "Farlan, what are you doing here?"
"Didn't you read my texts? I said I wanted to take you to work."
"I didn't read it, no."
"Oh- sorry. Anyways, Petra's having a little thing before work- you know, at the coffee shop two roads down from the station. Since I'm already here- let's just go and grab whatever we want."
If it wasn't for Hanji, I would've said yes. "Sorry, maybe next week. I'm a bit busy right now."
"You? Busy? Now? Levi, we have work in about an hour. How and what can you be busy with right now, huh? It just doesn't make any sense. Not one bit."
"Hey, Levi..." Hanji- stop talking! Stop talking! "Who's there?"
Farlan's face changed when he heard her voice. "Ohh... so that's what you've been busy with."
"It's not like that, Farlan. We didn't do anything. I swear, okay? Nothing that bad. We just talked. Nothing more, nothing less. Just leave- actually, you guys won't leave me alone, huh? No, I rather take the day off. I'll take the whole week off."
He continued to chuckle, shaking his head. "Oh dang... you're really into this, huh? Here I was, thinking it'll take you forever to... well, to even get her in your apartment. But... man, you really took her here."
"She asked to be here."
"Did she now?"
"Levi..." Hanji's voice called out to me. "I gotta head back to the orphanage soon, are you there?"
"Give me a moment, Hanji. I'm dealing with something here." I scowled, proceeding to slam the door shut on Farlan's face. Except, he managed to slip through into my apartment. "Farlan- out!"
He carefully snakes around me and carefully gazes into the kitchen area. "Ah- Hanji- we met earlier! How are you doing on this lovely, fine morning?"
I raised my hands in defeat, shaking my head. "Sorry, I tried to kick him out. He's a snake- and I hate it."
Hanji gave a slight chuckle, smiling softly. "Aww... that's alright, Levi. And I'm doing quite well today, Farlan. Just finishing up on my breakfast that Levi made for me. And it is delicious. Sorry- Levi only made enough for himself and me."
"Aw... unfair, Levi. Maybe next time, you read my messages- got it?"
"I'm enjoying some personal time with someone I enjoying having by my side, Farlan. Sorry if I have to stop our friendship for a few hours!" I raised my voice, just shaking in anger. He always does this. I may sound childish now, but he always does this. "Just- hurry up and leave, Farlan. I gotta drop her back home before the kids go to school."
"If I go, you better be getting ready for work, Levi. Got it?" Farlan gave me a slight look, awaiting for my answer. "Be honest, Levi."
Of course, I gave in. "Fine, I'll be there. Don't you dare spread rumors while I'm gone. I mean it. Or should I tell Isabel about-"
"Alright, fine, I'll keep my mouth sewn. Goodbye."
After he was gone for awhile, I retreated into my room and started to change into my uniform. And Hanji being herself, she wouldn't leave me alone. We continued talking for awhile, delaying me just by a few minutes. Honestly, I'm happy to talk to her...
To part away from her... it only pained my precious heart... I love her...
