Hanji's POV
"Ooohh..." Historia was the one trying to push the pup off of her as Eren tried to gain the pup's attention. Interestingly, Eren was trying to wrap his arms around the puppy. "He's a big one..." Historia giggled, trying to escape from the pup's grasp.
"B-Big Bro..." Eren began to ask with his emerald eyes. "What's his name?"
"He has no name." Levi chuckles, sitting closer to them. "Would you guys like to help Miss Hanji name him?" He looks at me with expectant eyes to help me back him up.
In return, I began to smile and nod my head. "Yes please. Would you guys all like to help me name him? He's a precious boy... and let's all take care of him. We all need to be gentle. He's going to be a big boy soon..."
Eren gave a bright smile, giggling. "Ooh, we get to pick his name?!"
Chirping softly, Armin slightly raised his hand. "Can we name him Walter?"
"Walter?!" Jean scoffs, shaking his head. "No, no, that's a bad name. What about... Jean Jr.?!"
You know that funny part where the whole group just turns against that one guy? All the kids shook there head and muttered disapproval words. In the end, Jean shook his head and started muttering under his breath.
"Maybe... name him... Louise?" Historia questioned, looking to the side. Funnily, Levi shook his head and rolled his eyes. Did he get a suggestion like that earlier or something?
"Ah- Big Bro calls me a... r-reb... rebellious brat... maybe name him Brat?"
Levi intervened- how it really brought a smile to my face. Even a chuckle. Brat the Dog? Oh boy... Levi, what have you done?
"No, we're not naming him that. Not that." There wasn't even a smile on his face. Such sternness... should I even be surprised? "Any other name suggestions?"
Then... it popped into my head. Like a bubble being blown... suddenly popping because there was too much air inside. It was such a horrible idea... but Eren had something that I would've liked to name our dog. "What if," I began, "we named him Rebel?"
"Ooh!" Eren giggled, finally able to wrap his arms around the energetic pup. "Rebel!"
Levi looked at me with weird looks. "Hanji, are you sure? Name him Rebel?"
My shoulders rose slightly. "Why not, Levi? After all, you did tell me it's my dog. Why not name him Rebel? He'll be a rebellious dog, wouldn't he? Scary looking, but all in all has a warm heart. Kind to everyone. I bet he'll be kind to the baby, wouldn't you think so?"
"Well... alright then..." Levi smiled, turning his attention back to the kids. "You heard her- Rebel's his name."
