*nothing explicit but something is totally happening here :)
This continues right after the chapter before... It's a second part of them on that day they got out of Tartarus.
++++++++
By the time Percy and Annabeth got so cold they couldn't last another minute out on the deck of the ship, everybody was fast asleep. They listened by Frank and Jason's cabins on their way, hearing soft snoring from both boys, and swung Leo's door a little more open. The latter wasn't there, he must have been working on the ship or passed out somewhere... It wasn't rare for him to fall asleep in the engine room or mess hall, anywhere but trapped by the walls of his cabin.
Hazel's room was opened too, they tip-toed by, glancing Piper sprawled by Hazel's side, maybe they were nervous too. Annabeth smiled at the picture in front of her, happy to see them sleeping fine, sliding the door shut.
And then Percy stopped by his cabin, although there wasn't much he could take, there wasn't much of his at all. Annabeth had brought him a few of his belongings for when he'd occupy the place, clothes that he highly appreciated and the shield he had in his old cabin back in Camp Half Blood, but he didn't like the room anyway.
They were just about to head to the corridor when the soul-less table turned to that hall. They ducked back into Percy's cabin.
Annabeth was extremely determined to take the thing apart in case he spotted them and made a mess out of theirs sleeping together. They decided on the deck, they didn't care anymore, not about what the others might think when they woke them up in the morning, if they found Percy's room empty, or about Annabeth's mother throwing fits if she ever found out.
"Come on now Percy, quiet." The table turned the corner and disappeared from sight. They ran across the hall to Annabeth's room, as silent as Percy's ungraceful steps allowed. "Get in," Annabeth whispered, turning the lock once Percy entered.
"But are you sure that's a good idea Annabeth?"
"Kiss me."
"Wh-" That took Percy by surprise, though he had mentally slapped that momentary failure of judgement away. He walked closer, until there was no space between him, her and the wall.
"I don't want to think. Kiss me- unless you don't want that, Percy-" Annabeth looked up, "I get it if you're-"
He dove for her lips, grasping his hands on her hips. Annabeth breathed out rapidly, this moment she fantasized about for months while he was away, memory wiped, far across the states, when all she had left was worry and the fear that he might never be found. She bit his lip, dragging her teeth carefully across the chapped, already tender, skin. "I love you, I love you so bad."
It was a terryfying mix of things she felt at the moment... Sadness washed away with the desperately slow touches on her skin and the world was forgotten. Annabeth reached for Percy's shoulders, hoisting herself up, pressed up on the wall behind which the coach would be watching fitness videos or war documents on any other night. But he was gone on his own mission and that played into their cards. They looked at each other as the wood rattled silently, eyes on fire, betraying the heat and sparks they felt running through their veins. The distance was closed again with just a few seconds to check the other's flushed faces. They'd have been so nervous on any other occasion before but neither understood why out of a sudden, they felt more alive right this moment than ever. This was it.
Percy's skin was on fire, it made Annabeth envision that blasted river coarsing through her veins instead of the passion she held towards her Percy, the same boy she had fought for, the boy that paled at the thought of her joining Artemis's hunt, the boy that refused immortality because his heart was bigger than that of any godly being. She blinked that stupid thought away and wrapped her legs around Percy's waist tighter, leaning harder into the wall for some balance as she grabbed for the hem of his shirt, lifting it over his head and dropping it carelessly, as easy as all her worries disappeared with him this close. Percy kissed her neck now, resting his head there, feeling her heart racing, just like his. The sloppy touch at her pulse point made her gasp, those hands tight around her back anchored her to this world, Annabeth was hoping she'd have at least one bruise that she could smile about once she looked in the mirror tomorrow.
Words began escaping Percy's lips, ones she couldn't understand and those of "I love you" on repeat. Annabeth's chest could about explode from the load of good she suddenly felt. She told him to hold on, tearing her top away from her damn skin. And then Percy walked them to her bed, Annabeth catching at his nape before he lay her down there. It all seemed so absurdly surreal she had to internally make sure that they truly got out and could have this night without the fear of what monster stormed on them. Then Percy lay above her, one arm braced at her side and the other slowly untangling her braid. She lost herself to the light surrounding her, radiating from the only person that had to be with her for the rest of her life if she had to choose living on a deserted island where not a soul could reach them. Yes, she'd be happy with just that.++++++++
Guys, so, let your imagination run wild, I'd honestly write more on it but I'd have to put this in another story then, with the R rating I guess... Should I? I don't care by now XD ask and you shall receive. My ADHD brain loves writing and I love when my thoughts aren't trying to destroy me, it's a win win.
Anyway, I'm gonna be very blunt right now... Percy and Annabeth, the perfect couple, the perfect lovers... Very mature and extremely traumatized to add up on that pile...
Their lives were reduced to following prophecies and managing threats of survival and now they're finally out of Tartarus, everything should be about them healing, they should pack up and go cry into Sally's arms, but no, that's not their story to follow... Instead, another battle is imminent and they have to fight in it, they can't dodge that bullet because some divine creatures have to be petty and stupid.
They're just hoping they don't die, that the other doesn't get hurt... What they have to go through next will traumatize them some more, people die in those kinda events and they know very well, having seen their friends die before. It's not fun, not at all.
Sooooo... You might be getting where I'm going with this, especially after that chapter. Here, I'll say it... Once they're out and finally alone, I think shit goes down and they do it. They love each other so bad but they're kinda broke on emotions, they're terrified and bruised and not even gods know what's haunting their minds. None can really calm the other. They just take that time they think could possibly be their last together and... Yeah.I've seen people raging on a girl's video about something along these lines, considering the stables scene...
But they're too young...
Honey but they're both 17 and only a few days apart, nothing criminal happening here. They're long past being children, sadly.
They'd wait for marriage...
Oh surely that's what every demigod that believes they won't hit that 21 milestone waits for, a piece of paper to put in their drawer...
On the other hand, people had some good points too, such as that they're of freaking greek heritage (take anything from that) and so truly in love that they don't give half a dam about anything anymore. So adieu guys, and don't you come yelling at me XD
*Oh and here's this... SavySami is the true picasso... Like... Her art is amazing.
I love these so bad... The meaning behind every single one...
*And she makes other characters too :)
