I don't really want to spoil the plot so I didn't give this chapter an exact name. This is for you @AlizaHasan and all of you rest too. Love you 💙
The age is on you but it's definitely over 28 or so... This is basically a sneak peak to their future by me.

I'll post some next chapter around Percy's birthday and it will be continuos on my normal story ;)

*I'll edit any mistakes tomorrow, I've got some major problems with writing and keeping the letters in the right order ;)

Percy's POV

I pulled the parking break and took the keys out of the ignition. But I didn't exit the car, I looked into our living room through the window. Annabeth was dancing with our youngest son in her arms on what could be a slow song, like when we first danced together.
I didn't get whatever I felt back then, dam at least I noticed Annabeth was a girl, a very beautiful and brave one. Annabeth spun around and Oliver clapped his tiny little hands and grinned exactly like Annabeth but I could see she had to put a little effort to it. She was worried about me, as always.
Annabeth spotted me, smiled so that I could see her eyes light up, and waved for me to come inside. I collected my backpack from the backseat and went home, a little ragged and bloodied but so happy I made it back to her, to my family.

Annabeth's POV

I hurried to the door and the classic 'I just went through a beating but hey, I'm alive' look of Percy's welcomed me with this gorgeous smile. I smiled too, the weight lifting off my shoulders.
I examined him carefully.
"Percy you look like a flock ran over you- of Polyphemos's sheeps. At least."
"The kid's okay, 11 year old daughter of my dearest mother in law, no living- or caring- relatives, Malcolm took her in for the night, the kids seemed to get along," Percy said, not daring to admit what happened just yet. I hugged him so close he yelped.
"Next time we leave the kids with someone and go together, is that clear?" But I couldn't now.
"Yes madame. Sorry, it kinda ate my phone."
"I figured," I pulled away from him but he pressed his lips to mine.
"I'm s-" Percy started but I cut him off.
"The girls' life is more important than my birthday. And they were still better than 17s, we went to the beach." I smiled but Percy looked almost disappointed, I understood. The only reason I spent the whole day at the beach, watching our 4 kids, was that, well, I felt better by the sea. And he knew it. "It's okay Seaweed brain, lets- get you cleaned up."
I grimaced at his torn clothes.

Third person's POV (just cause I feel like it)

Annabeth and Percy sneaked into the kitchen where Percy waited. Neither of them wanted the kids to see their dad in the state Percy was in. Only Oliver didn't care, he was just one year old after all, Annabeth took him upstairs anyway.
Ambrosia and nectar will heal you but some of the scars never fade unless they're properly cleaned, and cleaning hurt like hell.

"Vick?" Annabeth opened her oldest daughter's door.
All her children, Victoria, Sophie and Charlie, were sitting on the floor, playing a game of Uno. More specifically, Victoria was trying really hard to not loose her nerves as her little siblings didn't care about the rules. Annabeth smiled at the scene.
"Play too," cheered Oliver.
"Gods kill me," sighed Victoria.
Annabeth laughed and signed for her to come into the hall.
Victoria glanced at the duo switching cards and gladly obliged.
"I swear they're looking at mine right now. What is it mom?"
"Your dad's home-" Victoria smiled and took off but Annabeth caught her arm, balancing the baby on her hip.
"Not now-"
Victoria looked at her, worried.
"He's fine but I need you to watch your brothers and sister for a little longer while we- talk about the monster okay?"
"Okay," Victoria nodded. She was old enough to know the truth from Annabeth's voice.
"Now go teach this little punk how to beat you all."
"Will try."
"Thank you," Annabeth handed her Oliver.
"Mommy? Tell daddy I love him."
