So this is from before Percy was kidnapped and everything... Right after The Last Olympian when Percy and Annabeth first started school together and their relationship was pretty fresh (as much as 4 years of obliviance can be) :)
I jumped as something hit my window. My dorm room was pretty low so what now? Some idiot from school coming for Leah: better case scenario, or a monster. I was alone in there so I pulled my dagger out and went for the window. I opened it and looked out. There, in the shadow of a willow tree, stood-
"Percy!" I called as excitement hit me full range. "What are you doing here?" I laughed.
"Saving my princess from the finals, come on down," he smirked. I almost jumped right away. But I turned as fast as a rocket and grabbed my sweather before climbing out. I wouldn't have bailed on school, at least normally, but THIS place was getting on my nerves. Four walls and two doors wasn't enough.
"I'm coming," I whispered as the door to my room opened. "Heeeyy-" Leah ran to the window, maybe to catch me. But 4 and something meters was no big drop. (*Not really Annabeth, you'll see better, ehm, Tartarus -_-*) I kissed Percy on the cheek and pushed him back to the shadows before Leah clung out.
"Hey Leah. I- I just need some air." I smiled innocently.
"Really? And you happened to fall out?" Leah asked, cocking her eyebrows in a mocking way.
"Hmm, yes, you see-" A shout cut me off and Percy ran out to the light.
"Hi," he said, shrugging himself off as I glared at him. "There was a squirrel and you know we have some mutual hate going on Anna-"
"Shut up," I hissed silently. "So can you not tell on me?" I looked up to my doormate. "Please," I laughed. And I think the sight of Percy and I gave away everything. Leah was laughing as she closed the window.
"So, where are we going?" I grinned and Percy just shrugged.
"I thought we could figure it out on the way... Central park?"
"Ookay, anything but more chemistry," I cringed at the word. "How are you not learning for the test?"
"I know what I know and nothing more's fitting in there," Percy patted his head.
"Yeah sure Seaweed brain." I rolled my eyes at him.
"So..." I stopped before Percy and he looked at me quizzically.
"What?"
"Tag without safe places, the loser buys pizza!" I shouted and slapped his arm as I took off. I circled behind a parked car and Percy stood opposite to me.
"And how do we know who's the loser you smartass?" Percy asked.
"Come on," I laughed. "You don't stand a snowball's chance," I smirked deviliously. (Btw, Tyna shut up ;) I know.)
"We'll see about that," Percy took off and I dodged right as he almost had me. Have I mentioned the ALMOST?
So again, Percy almost won. He had me once, I have to give it to him. But by the time I raced him down, which would take much less time if the lil cheater didn't use his powers... But hey I WON! Though every pizzeria was closed by the time we realized it it was friday the next day and that neither of us finished out computer assignments. Luckily, Sally had some in the freezer, and that's how for the first time in my life I got called to the school office. 22 out of 10 would do it again though.
