HOAX?! I'm not complaining, I mean...

Alice left to get help from Professor McGonagall and we were left on the shores of the black lake. "I can't quite believe this." I mumbled. Scorpius and Albus nodded in agreement.

"Hi Rosie." I turned around to see Delphi with her wand pointed at me, her face livid. "Have fun in the forest?"

We jumped up and Delphi lunged for us. With no alternative, we jumped into the lake.

At first we were a little disoriented, but then Albus seemed to get an idea. Grabbing Scorpius and I, he went deeper under the water until we hit a spot. My lungs were beginning to burn for air, but he pointed to the rock and touched it. He went swirling out of sight. Scorpius went next, thrusting himself onto the rock. He swirled out of sight, and it was my turn. I touched the rock and everything went black for a second and I couldn't breathe.

The next breath I took was in a mess of stone slides and pipes. It was like being on a waterslide, except we were underground. I passed Albus and Scorpius sometimes, only brief interactions before being swept back into the labyrinth of slides.

I was spit out in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, through the toilet she haunted, and I hit my broken arm on the sink. I yelled in pain, and Myrtle popped up. "Why Rose! Everyone in the castle is looking for you, your mother and father are worried sick... why did you come out of my toilet?"

"It's a long story..." I mumbled, getting to my feet. My broken ankle was bruised and still bloody, and my broken arm felt like it was on fire. "Have fun in the pipes?" Albus asked, dripping wet with Scorpius in the corner. "Yeah, I'm never watching 'The Goonies' the same way again." I said.

Then we heard more screaming from Myrtle's toilet, and out popped a dripping wet Delphi. "That... was... HORRIBLE!!!!" She yelled, getting to her feet. We all started moving towards the door, but Delphi locked it with magic. "Oh no!" I whispered.

"My my, your parents are going to miss you three, won't they?" Delphi said, brandishing her wand.

"My parents won't care." I said, and my retort stung me more than it would ever have her. "Oh, will they? You know, all you need for a good trick like that is Goyle, Parkinson, and some polyjuice potion coupled with a sleeping spell."

I realized suddenly what she said. It was all a trick! My parents loved me!!!! It was like a huge weight had been taken off my chest and for the first time in a month, I laughed. Okay, it was more hysterical than anything else, but I still laughed.

"Rose? Are you okay?" Scorpius asked. Reality slapped me across the face and I remembered I was about to get killed by a crazy lady. "Oh... I am." Scorpius looked at me weird, but I just smiled.

"ENOUGH! Ladies first, or shall we do first come first serve?"

Just then, a gurgling sound came from the toilet. We looked and the toilet was flooding the bathroom. We tried the door, but it still wouldn't budge. The toilet spewed water everywhere and before we knew it it was up to our ankles. I searched my pockets for bobby pins but found none. Then the other toilets started gurgling and it came up to our knees. The whole bathroom was being filled with toilet water! We were gonna drown!

I made up my mind. I needed to get out and tell my parents what happened and hug them. By this time the water was up to our waists. I felt around in my pockets... generally I had a bobby pin with me... and I finally came up with a well used but sufficient bobby pin. The water was up to my chin, Scorpius was a little higher, Albus a little lower. Delphi was flying above the rest of us, she seemed to be delighted in our mortal plight.

When the water went over my head, I did a duck dive down to the door and stuck the bobby pin into it. After wiggling it a few times I ran out of air and had to come up. After another gulp of air, I dove back down again and wiggled it a few more times. The door lock loosened, and my lungs were burning so I went up and took a gulp of air.

I looked around. This was my last shot. If I failed, Albus and Scorpius would drown in here with me.

I dove down and finished picking the lock. One metal slider... just one...

The door unlocked and I pushed it open, making water spill out into the hallway. Because of the water pressure, I was pushed below.

My lungs were screaming for air, but I couldn't get up. Black swam at the edges of my vision, was I gonna die?! I would never get to tell my parents how much I loved them!

Everything went black.
