This was a prompt from berryninjago 's prompts book. I know only one of the Planets I listed existed in the Star Wars Universe. Just roll with the flow fam.
Kanan x Reader"Kanan we have four... Republic Cruisers right infront of us." I ran into the cockpit of the Ghost and looked out of the viewport. To my astonishment there were four Republic cruisers hovering there. Out of curiosity I tuned into the old secret Jedi frequency just to see if I could catch any chatter.
"Cruiser Negotiator you have damages on your starboard side. I've sent a damage control team they're going to fix you up real nice." A female voice said over their frequency.
"Much obliged, General (Ln)." An all too familiar voice spoke back.
"Well someone has to watch your tail, Cody." Rex who stood beside me gasped.
"General we are picking up a signal from someone else on this frequency. It's none of our ships or cruisers." Was that the same one or was it a different one? I couldn't tell the difference. Then a hologram appeared of a woman in our cockpit.
"This is General (Y/n) (L/n) of the Rebel cell Gioban. Who is this?" She stood straight and with an obvious sign of duty in her eyes. A Jedi if I could ever spot one.
"This is Captain Hera Syndulla of the Rebel cell Phoenix. I-" Before she could continue Rex stepped forward.
"General it has been a long time." She looked towards him and smiled.
"Rex... I was wandering when you were going to show up. Come your ship is cleared to land in docking Bay 7. Continue on route." Her image disappeared.
"You know her?" Hera questioned Rex and he nodded.
"Yes. She and my General were the most trouble making duo in the entire GAR. Heck I would even say the Jedi Order as well." He laughed and headed towards the unloading ramp. Hera looked at me.
"Do you know her?" I shrugged.
"If I ever met her I don't remember her. The Jedi Order was massive knowing everyone in it was impossible." She turned back to the controls and I made my way to Rex. Once the ship landed the unloading ramp opened and the rest of the crew joined us. Those who hadn't seen the inside of one of these ships was trying to take in everything at once. Rex and I were met at the bottom of the ramp by a clone squadron, and the Jedi from before.
"Welcome aboard, Captain." She looked at me next. "Commander very good of you to join us." I was taken aback. How did she know?
"How did you know?" I questioned softly.
"Well I guess I should say General now. You are a Jedi Knight correct? Why else would you carry the parts of a lightsaber?" She smirked at me. "Plus we met a few times while we were still Padawans."
"I'm Kanan Jarrus. This is my Padawan Ezra Bridger. Thats Hera, Zeb, Sabine, and Chopper." I motioned to each person as I introduced them. "And you already know the good Captain." She smiled fondly.
"Yes I do. I actually have alot of people here who want to see you Captain. Please follow me. Dismissed!"
"Yes sir!" The saluted and went in their own directions.
"How did you manage to keep this many clones safe from the order? How did you manage to keep all of these cruisers?" She smiled at Rex.
"Well each cruiser was once lead by a Jedi. We were all fighting in the same battle when the order was given, but for some reason our clones never turned on us. They had their chips removed as a precaution afterwards though. Do you recognize this cruiser yet Rex?" He looked around a bit and smiled.
"This is the cruiser Resolute. I was right hand to General Skywalker on this cruiser. Oh wait until Ahsoka finds out about this!" She stopped in her tracks and turned to Rex completely.
"Padawan Tano is alive?" She asked in all seriousness.
"Yes, but I don't know where she is. She tends to come and go as she pleases. Though she doesn't exactly identify with the Jedi anymore." She nodded and turned back around.
"Well this cruiser has been kept in impeccable shape for the return of one of its rightful leaders. Though the only one I have been able to find is you. I was beginning to fear that the inseparable trio that was you, Anakin, and Ahsoka were all dead. Welcome to the bridge everyone." She walked up to a console and pushed a speaker button. "Will troopers Echo, Fives, and Jesse please report to the bridge." She then let her hand off of the button.
"They're all alive? But Fives died! Echo went off with the Bad Batch and Jesse... Well Jesse was protecting Ahsoka and I the last time I saw him." The door behind everyone opened and three troopers walked in.
"If you boys would be so kind as to escort Captain Rex to the cruiser Negotiator. I'm quite sure his comrades over there will be pleased he has returned." The four of them exited the bridge so it was only the six of us.
"So General what have you been up to these past 16 years?" She looked towards me.
"I've been here with my troops fighting off Inquisitors every now and then killing off a few battalions of rogue battle droids."
"So you've been basically living in the past? We need you in the now helping us with the Empire not killing off battle droids that can't even hurt a fly!" I was angry now. How could she be so focused in one area?
"You made your choice and I made mine. Just because you can't live with yours doesn't mean you should shame me for living mine. Plus if you didn't hear me we have been fighting off Inquisitors. If you look out of this viewport here you will see the planet of Gioban... Do you know what happens on Gioban?" I shook my head no. "That is the planet they take force sensitive children to, to condition them for training to be Inquisitors. So don't try to stand there and act that you're all high and mighty when your cell can't even get over the planet of Lothal. Ever since we started fighting we've liberated Stewjon, Carthin, Froida, AND Limsac. So don't try and lecture me honey. This is why our Masters NEVER allowed us to work on the same missions together. Now if you'll excuse me I'm needed in Council. You're free to roam the ship if you'd like." She turned and walked into a small isolated meeting room off to the side.
"Remember her yet, because she seems to remember you?" Hera asked with a bit if an edge.
"Yeah. I remember her now, but she looks so different than she did when I saw her last. She used to wear her hair in two braids one regular braid, and one Padawan braid. So no I wasn't going to recognize her at first. We were only kids when the order was given." I scratched the back of my neck. "She started that argument though!" Hera pinched the bridge of her nose.
"No she didn't you did, but she did end it though. So when she comes out of there I suggest you apologize to her. Especially if we are going to ask for her help to liberate Lothal." She turned and left the bridge with the others leaving me alone next to the holotable. I found an empty seat and sat down waiting for her. I waited for about an hour when she finally reemerged from the room.
"I figured you would've ended up going with your crew to explore." She stood on the other side of the holotable.
"No I need to apologize. I was wrong and rude... So I am sorry." She looked at me and pursed her lips.
"You need help don't you?" She asked with a small smirked.
"Yes. We need your help with liberating Lothal from Empirial occupation." She put her hand on her chin thinking.
"We can help you, but I would like to ask a favor of you first." I looked at her full of hope. "Finally take me on that date you said you would take me on all those years ago?" She smiled sweetly and thats when I saw the teenage girl that I once knew. I smiled back and held out my hand.
"Of course." She grabbed my hand and we walked out of the bridge planning out our date.
