          Zeb x Lasat!Reader

So here we are just minding our own business stealing from other thieves. You might be wandering what's going on here. Well let me give you the short story. When Lasan fell the few surviving Lasat's went their own ways. Being a former honor guard I had a rather large target on my back. That didn't stop me from moving to Lothal, and basically adopting a kid named Ezra. Ezra Bridger. We stole to make money so we could survive, but this opening was just too good. He and I picked up on the operation before it even started. I chewed on my toothpick waiting for Ezra's signal trying to blend in. Which was hard since I'm a Lasat and we kind of stick out in a crowd. I saw the kid from the other roof flash his light at me, and that was my que. He jumped down, and took one of the bikes and sped past the other two. I hopped on the back of the bike as rear protection. Out of nowhere a Mandalorian girl jumped down onto the crates and detached one of them. She looked up at us and was utterly shocked judging by the gasp she let out.
"Just to let you know if the big guy gets you he'll end you!" She exclaimed as she ran off with it. I growled a bit, and continued watching the kids back. Sure enough a bit down the main road a human and a Lasat male attacked us. I drew my borifle.
"Okay kid. You just keep going don't look back alright?" He turned to protest but I sent him a look. He nodded in response and started driving faster. I transformed your borifle into a staff and jumped onto the Lasat's speeder bike stopping it in its tracks. I jumped off of it and got into my fighting stance. He did the same and I waited for him to attack. Eventually he did and I countered every one of his attacks with ease. Going on the offensive I swung my borifle at his feet, and jumped over it. I went for his head and he ducked I smirked as my opening widened. I turned on the electropulse on my borifle and hit him in the stomach. His eyes widened and he fell to his knees when I heard a blaster charge up behind me.
"I thought Lasats were loyal to eachother?" The man from the other speeder.
"Only when Lasan still stood. I didn't see him or any of my people for months. I met the kid and he needed help someone to watch his back. Its been years since I've seen one of my kind. Especially someone like him." You pointed to the former Lasan Honor Guard. "The kid is all I have and I am all the kid has." The Lasat stood up and grabbed my borifle from my hands.
"Yeah yeah yeah. Talk is great, but we're on a tight schedule." He pushed me forward and they were forcing me forward onto a ship. It quickly took off as soon as you were on board. I turned and the kid smiled.
"They got you too huh?" He scratched the back of his neck.
"Didn't have much choice. Beat the crap out of the big guy and the human snuck up on me. I'm embarrassed noone has been able to sneak up on me since my neighbor back on Lasan. I wander if he survived the siege." My ears drooped and I looked down. The Lasat sat down near me.
"What was his name?" I smiled fondly at the memory of my neighbor boy.
"His name was Garazeb. Garazeb Orelios one of the sneakiest kids on the block." I chuckled. "He snuck up on me more times than I could count. Even got a nice scare across his-" The Lasat cut me off.
"Across his chest. Wait a minute... (Y/n) Klalommiodd? Karabast its been so long I didn't recognize you! You are so different. I didn't realize you survived or that you were an honor guard. I knew your sister was one did she... Make it?" Your ears drooped once more as you looked away.
"No. She died taking a shot aimed at me. Didn't give me a choice on if I took the shot or not. I guess family will make sacrifices for this that they love even if we're not the ones that should've survived." Zeb tilted his head obviously confused.
"She had a family. A child, a husband... All things that I couldn't have." I wiped my eyes quick trying to shove my emotions away. "Hey but its the past, and you can't change that no matter what." I turned to the kid and started to examine him for injuries. "They didn't hurt you did they kid?" He shook his head.
"No they didn't hurt me." You smiled.
"Good if they had I'd have to kick Zebs butt again." You smiled at him and he smiled at you too.
"I kind of hate you." I smiled at Zeb.
"You love me." He laughed and leaned back in his seat.

          6 Years Later

I chased my son through the house that Zeb and I moved into after the war. Lira San was peaceful, and Kallus was a good neighbor. Which was surprising.
"I'm wandering where he got his never ending stamina. It didn't come from me." I told Zeb as I walked closer to him with the squirming 3 year old in my arms.
"Not from me I'm too tired most of the time." We both exhaled as I finally got Kanan to sleep. A soft almost inaudible knock was heard on the front door. Zeb got up from his seat to find Kallus at the front door.
"Alexsandr you're early! Lunch won't be ready for another hour." I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Well I didn't see a problem with friends hanging out together before lunch. Now where is he?" He started looking around the living room.
"Your nephew just laid down for his nap. You are welcome to join us for prelunch fun." I sat down and then heard the fast paced footsteps coming down the hall.
"Uncle Alexsandr!" My son ran into Kallus' arms. I smiled and watched fondly as Kallus played with Kanan and Zeb joined me.
"Maybe we can have another one?" He looked at me hopefully. I smiled back at him and handed him the test. "You're really pregnant again?" I smiled at his shocked face and nodded. "Karabast I love you." I smiled at him.
"Didnt I tell you that all those years ago?" I pulled him into a kiss and smiled into it. "I love you too."
