So this part 2 was requested by fuehrtdieorder66aus. I hope you like it hun! 😁 Thought about making it spicy, but decided to leave that for maybe a later more detailed chapter.

Finally after weeks of nonstop missions The Bad Batch was finally able to take a few days of R&R. Rumor around Kamino was that you and the boys were going on another mission tomorrow to Yalbec Prime. Currently you sat at the only table in the room sorting through paperwork for Hunter. He had woken up with a horrendous migraine and landed himself in the infirmary. Apparently he still tried to go train with the boys, and ended up getting hurt. That's what Tech and Wrecker had told you when they rolled through earlier. Crosshair's whereabouts were unknown, and you weren't sure what was happening. You thought the two of you had a lovely date the day you got back.

"I guess I kriffed that too." You mumbled as you sat the datapad down on the table. You rubbed your eyes for a moment and when you opened them again the rain outside had stopped. You looked around confused until you caught sight of the clock on the wall. You had fallen asleep, and the last time you checked was 2 hours ago. You groaned and picked the datapad up. You continued the paperwork until you had it finished and sat the cursed object down for the rest of the day. "I hope I didn't miss dinnertime with the boys." You mumble to yourself once more.

"You didn't, cyar'ika." A voice spoke from beside you, and you squealed in surprise. Crosshair chuckled and pulled you into his side. "Tech and Wrecker went to check on Hunter one more time before dinner. They wanted to see if he was well enough to leave the infirmary."

"Wait how long have you been here? Were the boys here too?" You asked the questions in quick succession.

"Well we dropped by earlier to grab you for lunch, but you were asleep. Came back about an hour ago, but you were so engrossed in work that not even Wrecker could get your attention. They left I stayed to keep you company even if you didn't know I was here." Crosshair finished what he was saying with a light kiss to your cheek. You wrapped your arms around him and flung your legs over his lap.

"Since I hadn't seen you all day before I fell asleep I figured you were mad at me." You said as you buried your face in his neck.

"I wasn't mad. Just training... I promise." He said as he nuzzled into your hair.

"Pinky promise?" You asked as you stuck out your pinky. He exhaled a weak laugh as he locked his pinky with yours.

"I pinky promise." He said in slight amusement. He moved your face so you were looking up at him and he locked his lips with yours. The kiss started to get a bit heated, but the door to the room opened and Wrecker burst in.

"Who's ready for some grub!" He shouted, then he recoiled a bit when he saw you and Crosshair.

"Are you two coming with us to eat, or are you going to eat eachother?" Hunter asked in a joking tone.

"Yeah. I kind of accidentally skipped lunch so I'm starving." You told Hunter as you got up.

"Hmm I wouldn't have minded having you for dinner." Crosshair tried to whisper in your ear, but he still said it too loud.

"I don't even want to know what that means. Tech don't explain it to me!" Wrecker said as he walked out of the room. Your cheeks set ablaze as you put your face in the palm of your hand. You walked next to Crosshair who walked slightly behind Hunter. Crosshair had his arm slung over your shoulder, but removed it when you entered the mess so you could get your trays. You sat down with the boys at your table, and Crosshair automatically took the seat next to you. He absent-mindedly put his arm back on your shoulders as the group ate.
