     ~Weeks Later~

The Bad Batch had become quite accustomed to having a General, who at this point had taken full command. It might've only been a few weeks, but they had already finished the invasion and been shipped out on two more missions. Currently they were running their third mission as a full team.

"Hunter, Tech, and Echo I want you three to retrieve what we came here for. Wrecker and I will be your distraction, and Crosshair." He looked up at her from his seated position. "I need you to watch our back." She told him, and he smirked.

"Wouldn't have it any other way, General." He told her and she sighed.

"What will it take for all of you to stop calling me that?" She asked them and they all looked at eachother.

"When you aren't a General anymore, General." Echo said as he placed his blaster back in its holster. She pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Fine. Make preparations for departure within the hour." She told them as she sat at the top of the ladder for the turret gun.

"General." She could tell who it was, because she had become very accustomed to everyone around her. "I wanted to see if you had any extra intel for me since I'll be watching your back." Crosshair leaned on the wall at the bottom of the ladder.

"No extra intel that would be considered useful. The usual op with tanks, speeders, spider droids... The usual." She told him as they made eye contact. It was very obvious once she took full command that Hunter was her righthand man. However, interesting developments between her and Crosshair caused the others to wander if she was going to promote him above Hunter. She declined these rumors, because she believes Hunter has one of the strongest resolves on the team. The connection between her and Crosshair was different. Like the Force itself was magnetizing the two towards eachother. She realized she got lost in thought while making eye contact, and quickly averted her gaze.

"Are you alright General?" Crosshair asked her, and she sat frozen for a moment.

"I'm confused about this feeling. I've never felt it before so I'm not sure how to handle it. I'm okay other than that." She told him, and he looked around them to see where the others were. Hunter, Tech, Echo, and Wrecker were in the cockpit devising strategy no doubt.

"I'm confused too. When you're around or when I'm talking to you... It feels like I'm being pulled to you. I've been wandering if I should ask Tech or Hunter about it." He finished by putting a new toothpick in his mouth.

"I'm not so sure about asking others about it. I suspect that we are feeling the same thing, but I cannot ask any of my Masters. They'll label me as attached and either take me away from you, or kick me out of the Order altogether." She told him as she climbed down. Crosshair signaled something to Hunter who got the guys full attention (Even though he already had it).

"I lied, (Y/n). I already talked about this with Hunter, and he told me to go for it. I wasn't sure what he was talking about until now." Crosshair pulled pulled her to him and connected their lips. She was shocked at first, but allowed herself to melt into the intimate contact.

"I'm falling for you, Crosshair. I just don't know what to do about it." She whispered against his lips.

"If we feel the same, why should we deprive ourselves of this? It's hard for me to admit it, but I fell for my commanding officer. If she'll have a clone like me." He whispered back to her.

"Crosshair..." She leaned her forehead against his chest plate. "You already have me." She pulled him into another kiss this one slightly more passionate than the last. A bang from the cockpit drew them apart, and Crosshair ran in ahead of her. She followed shortly behind, but was not even sort of ready to see what she was walking into. The droid she had come to call 'Gonkie' was dropped on top of Echo, and Tech was stood by his seat looking slightly annoyed at Wrecker. Hunter was massaging his temples trying to calm himself down.
